I have recently changed my review. I thought Coasters Bar & Grill was a great place until now. The manager of 18 years just recently left to open up his own bar. Immediately following his departure things changed. Last Sunday Aug. 13th 2017 I took my sister who has stage 4 Cancer and her friends here to watch kareokee. I paid my bill via bank card and left a cash tip to the bartender Bianca. When I checked my bank statement last Wednesday I noticed she had added a (fraudulent) $100 additional tip to my card. After noticing the fraud , I went back the next evening, thinking it was a mistake. When I asked her about it, she got very upset and asked security to ask me to leave. I have been going to the bowling alley since 1988 and up until now I have given it a 5 star rating. I would stay out of Coasters bar and grill due to this particular bartenders illegal and unethical practices.

People like David Pollux who wrote that whiney review are the skid marks on the underpants of society & the exact self entitled A-holes ruining this country! I was there at the same time that sissy nanny and witnessed the entire thing! He is actually folks a cross dresser and during there altercation literally swung his purse at one of the management staff and his hair wig came off in the process! Everyone laughed he/she??? Got super embarrassed screamed a few crazy words and stormed out! It crazy what you read people dont let that influence your judgments because you dont really know these people/if they take medications or drugs/ you know nothing about who they are so dont read to much into what a stranger writes on a page because they most likely might be just like Dave Pollux there and off his meds having a bad hair day ......?

Terrible Management!!! Stay Away!!! **READ OTHER REVIEWS** In my short time at this establishment it became quite obvious that the management is Very Poorly Run. Besides the continuous Rude & Loud threats by management via the intercom system (with no regard to the customers) the employees seem to be working in a state of fear. Save your hard earned money for a place where management puts the customer experience first : )

Really fun to be there!! Music is pretty good. Foods great, I love the mozzarella sticks. Bowling wise, everything works really well nice system they have and my favorite thing is when they turn the white lights off and the black lights and the light shows go on.

Besides being thes only bowling alley in Santa Cruz County, Boardwalk Bowl has deals every day of the week. With Atomic (black Light & music) Thursday and Sunday nights, they also have half price bowling from 1 to 4 every weekday.

Coasters (the bar) is what makes this place great. The bowling alley is mediocre, but its the only one on town so customer service doesnt have to be great. Go for drinks and karaoke and you will have a blast!!

Great place to go with the kids. The fact that there is no admission and you can pay per ride if youd like is great. Also Monday and Tuesday Evins every ride is $1.50! Its quite a steal.
