Brought my kids here today, wasnt expecting the awesomeness that ensued. Didnt know it was family night, so the discount was awesome. No smoke and music wasnt deafeningly loud, nor was it too quiet. Just right. Lanes are in great shape and appear to be well cared for. Scoring equipment has to be original, but that in no way affects the experience, in fact it took me back to my childhood and was nice to be able to provide the kids the same kind of experience I remember as a kid. Staff was super friendly and food/drinks were priced at good value. The lady in the concessions even brought out our food for us and didnt seem to mind at all. Overall, while the building may look dated and in need of some paint, this is an amazing experience for the money. I should mention we drove an hour just to bowl at Sunshine lanes based on the other reviews and they did not disappoint one bit. 10/10 will bring my kids here again. 10/10 will bowl here more often.

This is my favorite bowling alley in Springfield. All of the others I have been to are bright and flashy and remind me of dance clubs more than bowling alleys. This is a bowling alley for bowlers. The lanes are well lit. Theres no annoying music turned up too loud. The layout is well designed. It attracts better bowlers, who have helped me be a better bowler. And their food is actually pretty good. Bowling alleys generally dont have a reputation for offering good food, but this one does.

These arent bad lanes and for the price you pay, its pretty nice, there are better lanes in Springfield, but then again, you pay for it. The atmosphere here is clean and warming, you never feel off put here and the equipment rental is all cheap as well, shoes, lanes, and games. Its all very well priced. Can make for a good night out with the coworkers or some of your good friends from college. Worth the money to play at least a couple games.

Danny thanks for being there for me throughout my life. As a kid to a grown lady you have always been a great help at holiday lanes and now art sunshine lanes. I got my first bowling ball at this location and the staff was very helpful. I been also going bowling here since I was young kid. Thank you sunshine lanes for keeping a safe, healthy, and fun time for me and my family.

5 stars not because its: most updated.. newest version.. hippest place... blah blah Its 5 because its everything bowling alleys were, and the people are just real. Theres another alley in town fresh from a 6 month refurbish. I dont think 50 flat screen TVs, and an iPad to assign names justifies LITERALLY 10 TIMES THE COST.

Every night is some special going on. The staff us so much fun and they watch out for you. Great place for fun. Lost stars because they need to update their video games and because it needs some work done. Always clean though. They are working on renovations and it is coming along so be patient .

My family and I held a fundraiser here and the staff was really easy to work with and accommodating to our requests. Everyone had a great time bowling. This place also has the best cheeseburgers. You cant go bowling here and not get a cheeseburger, trust me.

Great place to bowl with new lanes! Environment is family friendly. This place is very clean and inviting! I highly recommend this place to bowl. They also have a Monday night bowling league that I wish I could have joined, but my schedule conflicts...

Lots of lanes to choose from, that is the only plus. Staff arent very friendly. Pool tables are in bad shape, but the sticks and chalk are worse. Bowling balls are chipped, some badly, and show no signs of being cared for at all.

We go for youth bowling leagues. Joy is the leader and is a great coach to kids of all ages. They are remodeling the inside which needs some major attention. Sounds and looks like they are making the needed updates.

Staff always friendly and very helpful to our school-age summer students everytime we brought them this past summer. Older, more quaint bowling alley-even has a grill for meals that I would like to try sometime.

the interior is definitely dated, and they are slightly pricey for the quality of the balls/lanes. However the staff is friendly and very helpful, and there are a LOT of lanes to accommodate large groups.

I bowl at Sunshine Lanes every Friday. Its not as fancy as some of the other houses in town, but thats fine with me as it caters to people who are there for the bowling (and maybe a couple of beers).

Old lanes and old equipment. Definitely wouldnt want to throw my own bowling ball down these lanes. Balls get stuck on the lanes every 2 throws. Not worth the frustration especially with kids.

We were in town for a baseball tournament and stopped by to kill a couple hours. It wasnt crowded. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also had a kids bowl free program which was nice.

A great place to bowl, friendly family atmosphere. Older look and feel to the place that just adds to the charm. Good lanes and knowledgeable pro shop. Good food worth the short wait.

They arent the newest or the nicest bowling alley in town, but the equipment is well cared for, and the people are just awesome. Affordable fun for the whole family.

Very nice staff, accommodating, my only problem was the pin counter and cleaner machine thing was a little off sometimes, but it wasnt enough to make it not fun
