This is a small museum to take in at the federal reserve bank. Its free. The Truman coin collection is really something to see. Its arranged so that you can see which coins were in circulation during each presidents term. The best attraction here, though, is the automated trucks and cranes that move the money around inside the bank. Three trucks named Huey, Dewey, and Louis drive back and forth moving money from one place to the next. All automated. Its mesmerizing really. Totally worth the price of admission. And its free.

Took my 2 kids ages 6&16 to the FREE money museum on the non guided tour. There were a lot of other kids there bc it was the summer so it was hard to take time and look throughly at some items. However there were plenty of things to see such as the 27lb gold brick, $100,000 bill, the vault that processes over $4 million dollars per day and has over a billion in storage. You can make your own "dollar bill" in a couple of ways. On your way out you can take a bag of shredded money.

I enjoyed our visit. it was quite interesting. We went for homeschool week as part of the Family Tours. I was a little disappointed because it wasnt geared toward the younger kids at all. I heard that they have some neat things usually for the younger kids. So I wish the Family Tours could be geared a little more to the mixed ages. But it was interesting for us older folks & it was very convenient for parking. And free which is awesome.

Auch für ausländische (deutsche) Besucher ist das Museum wegen der guten Mischung aus Fakten und anschaulichen Exponaten sehr zu empfehlen.

Free parking, free museum, but by no means boring. We really enjoyed our visit, especially making our own digital currency and watching the workers as they sorted and bundled the money. Beautiful building, wonderful staff, and worth visiting if you are in Kansas City or surrounding area.

This place is great. So many cool features that deal with all the aspects of the federal reserve and the banking system. Fun stuff for the kids and you cant beat the price.

We went here last minute and were pleasently surprised. The kids (4 and 7) were not so impressed, but we enjoyed it. The kids did like the robots that moved the money.
