This may be one of the best deals in the area. For $20, you get access to the museum, the tall ship Elissa, and a one-hour harbor tour. The museum itself is nice although exhibits are a bit sparse. However, walking around Elissa and the harbor tour are well worth the price of admission on their own. The tall ship has been restored amazingly well. There really arent many examples of this type of ship that have been restored so expertly, and most of the ship is open for viewing. The harbor tour was fun as well. It was windy (over 40mph) the day we went, so the tour stayed in the channel, but it was still a fun one hour tour around Galveston. We did spot a couple dolphins, and the rough water was pushing some of the passengers to their limits, but we enjoyed it thoroughly.

The Elissa and the Seaport Museum are some of the coolest places to visit in Galveston! Its a little pricey, but you get full access to crawl all over the fully restored ship, and visit the indoor museum, and its very worth it! The exhibits in the ship and museum were great, and I especially enjoyed the exhibit in the cargo hold of the Elissa about sea chantys and a short film in the museum about the restoration of the Elissa. Theres also a great gift shop with unique, nautical merchandise.

a cute little museum showcasing the 1877 Tall Ship Elissa. Museum staff are helpful and will answer any of your questions. The Texas Seaport Museum makes a great stop on your trip to galveston if you have kids or if youre a history aficionado. Stop next door at Fishermans Wharf for a St. Arnolds Elissa IPA on your way out!

Great time and a must do in galveston. The elissa was great to wander on board and get to touch a piece of history, the harbor tour was fun and interesting and the museum had some interesting bits I it. Plus there is a penny masher if u collect them like I do.

The actual seaport museum had a few artifacts from early Texas Navy and a lot of information panels on the old Galveston port. The ship itself is worth the admission, cant find a ship like that still floating in the water from the era

Really enjoyed our tour. It was enjoyable family fun. Getting to tour the old ship was fascinating too. Set some time to come, the exhibits took us the greater part of two hours. Would recommend this Museum to anyone.

For $33 for not even 30 minutes... it sucks! Says online a fully wooden boat, the engine is new, its basically all steal except the deck.... highly disappointed!

42$ for 2 adults and 2 children not worth it in my opinion. Pirate ship was kinda cool, museum must be worlds smallest. Very overpriced for basically 30 minutes

The museum was ok. Not a huge collection. The boat "Elissa" was neat to see. We also got the harbor tour which was well worth it. $20 for all three.

A little smaller than I expected... But there is a lot of information conveyed. Enjoyed the exhibit on the role of the Republic of Texas Navy.
