Google Waterpark Review H20ooohh INDOOR WATERPARK is the greatest! Its connected to the Galleria at Split Rock Resort & WE LOVE IT! Its like a hidden treasure in the Poconos. Its just the right size for all! A Wave Pool, a Flow Rider, Hot Tubs, and several Large & Long Slides including a family one. When youre sliding down the slides you actually start inside the building, then go through the water tubes to the outside and return back to the inside. Our whole family loves them. Theres also several fun play areas & slides for children, if you need that. They have an Activity Pool with Hoops.....parents can play with their "big Kids" for a long time (and little kids) and everyone has smiles on their faces!! Refreshments are sold right in the waterpark & theres a bar, too. Plenty of tables and lots of lounge chairs. Nice big locker area & very clean & large shower-restrooms. A big plus for this park is that you dont have to stay at the resort to enjoy the Waterpark. Anyone can go! But we have stayed at the resort a couple of times and thats great too because they have so many activities & things to do that you never have to leave the resort. Like a Movie Theatre & Bowling & Restaurants....and even a Lake & a Beach & Golfing in the summer. But thats for another great review....lol. We try to go to H20ooohh Indoor Waterpark every time we are in the Poconos or close by. Its close to the PA Turnpike-Northeast Ext. & I 80. Its a nice stop when youre on your way to NYC which is two hours away. Its open year round but we do check their website if we plan on going because they are not open every day. And you have to take your own towels. Now I wish we were going back right now!!!

My family and I came here for a nice, warm, weekend getaway from the winter cold and onslaught of snow. Sadly, this place sucks! The air may be 82°, but the water is FREEZING. We had to keep taking our 6 yr old out of the water every 20 minutes so that he could warm up and his lips could turn back to their normal color from the near-blue theyd become. Everything here is run-down and dirty. Paints faded, chairs are broke, only one hot tub works and the same 6 people decided they would be the only ones to use it all day. There are open holes in the bottom of the wave pool to mess your feet up in case all of the extremely abrasive surfaces hadnt gotten you yet. We didnt even bother to see what condition the slides were in because the rest of the place is in such disrepair and we value our lives. All in all, I really regret wasting the money on coming here. It was an absolutely lousy experience. PS: Bring your own food unless standing in line for 30 minutes to pay $5 for a cold cheeseburger thats just a patty, slice of cheese and a bun sounds like a good time to you.

Only about 5 rides total, charged full price for twilight hours when the main ride was closed for a competition. The paper given out at the time share advertised that it would be over at 4 however it didnt end till 5. Also a tube popped on one of their slides the night before and they didnt bother to replace it for the busy Saturday when they knew their main attraction was going to be closed. My husband approached the manager and grieved his complaints to him, only to find one of the rudest people possibly in Pennsylvania. In regards to the float his exact words were "What do you want me to do? Go to Wal-Mart and replace it?" And when my husband pointed out about the advertised time he argued with him and stormed off saying "Im going to go check." I would avoid wasting any money here, seeing as you can have more fun at whatever pool area is at your hotel.

A bit expensive, considering the age of the water park, but we had free passes, so I guess I cant complain. Lockers are available, towels are NOT provided (bring your own), food is available, & birthday party space is available as well. The facilities has a wave pool, a water basketball area, 3 tube water slides - 2 for either single or double tubes, and 1 for a larger tube (2 people or more). There is a tower/playground area with: a huge bucket of water that spills over when it gets full, 2 smaller water slides (non-tube), water cannons/levers/spouts to turn on & off. There is also an area for the smallest children, a couple hot tubs, as well as a body boarding area. Plenty of lounge chairs, tables & places to relax. Free Wi-fi and the park opens at 10 AM (get there when it opens, as you end up having the place to yourself for a while!)

Sat Jan 7, 2017 Our 1st time there. Facility was nice and clean. We had 6. Grandparents, adult kids and 2 grand kids. We all had a good time. A special note to the staff/Lifeguard GREG at the Komodo Dragon Surf Pool. He was F A N T A S T I C! Watching him work, he had to be the hardest working guard there. Gracious and helpful to the kids trying it for the 1st time. Whatever they pay him...it isnt enough!!! He is running up and down that surf hill all day and cheerful while doing it! It was all great but this guy was the STAR of the day! They have lockers (electronic a bit pricey on the rental) but they fill up so they need to add another block or two. Everyone there was sociable and we felt quite at home. The lifeguards are very watchful and do tweet out at risky behavior. We will go again!

I gave a 5 star because my 9 & 11 year old sons had a BLAST. BUT would I go back No I would NOT.... The water park needs to be better maintained. While walking up to the three big slides there was small what looked like puddles of mud for decayed concrete it look Yucky , nasty and unsanitary and I saw some where I was sitting on the beach chairs..And the water was cold its August so I can just imagine how cold it is in the winter, I wont be there to experience that . And the attendance to me it was colder the day before, but yesterday was over 80 degrees. Its Indoor the water should be warm... My first and last time...But my boys loved it

Its cute for an in-hotel bonus. Certainly not for a water-park style destination. Staff is no-where near attentive enough to feel comfortable letting my 8 year old swimmer out of eye-sight for even a minute. Even at the top of the three tube slides, there was only one "lifeguard" who was really kind of bored with being at work or maybe just tired and having a bad day. But if there was any kind of medical emergency, she wouldnt have been able to do anything. Three "cool" tube slides, a fun wave pool and surf pool and a small kids play area. But thats really it. Snack bar is cafeteria-style pool food. Meh. (Eat in Lake Harmony instead)

Water and environment was super-cold. Uncomfortably cold. Management knew ahead of time that a special rate for admission was going to happen, and instead of going the extra mile to ensure potential future customers would return, they cheapened the experience with unacceptably cold water in a cold room. I have managed snow for 400 homes and almost 200 businesses. The entrance was dangerously unkept with an unplowed, unsalted, snow-covered entrance. Law-suit city. A clear distinction between a business-minded approach and a customer-oriented experience comes to mind. Staff was professional and courteous. Facilities were clean.
