Tried to go see a Grouplove concert, the security guard checking ids was extremely rude. He looked at mine, immediately yelled that it was fake, put it in his pocket and threatened to call down a police officer to take care of me. My id is from Florida as I moved from there a month ago, and I have had no issues with using it at other venues and shops. He eventually called down another guard to check my id who was more polite, but somehow neither of them could determine if it was real or not. Our only option was to deal with the police checking it or leave the place with no refunds. Definetly will be avoiding this place from now on.

We came to the Young the Giant/Ra Ra Riot show. The tickets stated the show started at 7:30. As I pulled up near the venue at 7:15 I very clearly heard Ra Ra Riot in the middle of a song. We came to this show specifically to see them. By the time we made it in the door at 7:28 they had already played 5 songs. I talked to a manager and his response was that there was nothing he could do and that he didnt really care. The venue was also so crowded you could barely move around to go get a drink, go to the bathroom, etc. Never going back there again.

Came to see Young the Giant. I bought VIP for my boyfriend and I. We did get confused where to go and the security guards either didnt know or were extremely rude. We tried to get somewhere to stand but it was all full. The sound was good but most of the crowd was talking over the music. I came to see my favorite band and ended up sitting in the bar area by a fire. I could hear the music okay and I could hear the crowd too. I am never coming to this venue again and I do not reccomend it. But I still love Young the Giant. ❤

We attended the Commadores and Darcus Gates concert and paid $75.00 +$6.00 handling charge per ticket for 2, VIP which included cheese burger sliders and cheap liquor and no seat this isnt fare. I had to complain and I finally got a stool. We could have made reserveration at one of the restaurant and spent less than $160.00 and had good drinks and food. I want someone to respond back to ASAP. I know they have caucasian concerts and dont charge but $25.00 at the most. NOJUSTICE NOPEACE

I attended the young the giant concert here, the VIP isnt worth it, 95% of the security staff was nothing but rude to myself and my girlfriend. We came to see the band not just sit at the bar area to listen to them. Worst seating selection of any establishment that I have ever been at! If your favorite band is playing here find a different venue to be at!

Terrible venue with horrible speakers and no acoustics. Barely better than the Sprint Center. Why pay for a ticket when you can just go into a bar and see the entire show for free? Apparently theyve expanded the worthless VIP section to include the overlooking walkways so no one else can actually see the show. Waste of time and money.

It wouldve been great if it werent for the rude KC Live staff at the ticket entrance. Credit Card only and refused a receipt. When I raised a fuss about it I was threatened with no entry and police intervention. If you want to go, try entry from one of the bars, the may treat you better.

I did not want to rate the show, I had a question/comment. I thought this show was an editorial view of KC. Is it true that featured stories and guests pay to be on the show? Does this required payment include schools and not for profits? Please clarify my confusion.

Definitely the place for college students and young adults to come party at night. Lots of bars in the same square and outside dancing and drinking. The big drawback is that past 11pm it cost to get into the area and some bars have a surcharge at the door.

Nice venue - walking distance from lots of eateries -& a few decent spots to eat directly in KC Live venue. Can get crowded if the music/event is popular -- so, if you MUST sit - get there early (some tables, etc. in back)

If you go to see a title performer be aware that there is ALWAYS an opening act,at least 80 minutes and $50-$60 In beer to get there on time. B WARE---- Great 8 pm show that performer starts at 9:15 earliest.....
