Best live music joint I have ever been to!! Better than Beale Street and BB Kings and better than any place in Austin Tx. The variety of music shows is amazing, the quality of music is amazing. They have live jams on Sat and Sun afternoons that usually exceed anyplace I have played. Summertime the jams are outside on their outdoor stage. This is also a bike bar in good weather and there will be tons of great bikes there. One major bonus, I have never ever seen a cross word, any anger, never any fighting EVER and I have been going here for 8 years. They have food, multiple bars, great music, multiple stages that can be going at same time and everyone there is a music fan!! Cant say enough that you should visit their web site and find a show you would like to see and order yout tickets on line (best way to go) and visit the place. Better yet show up on Sat or Sun for the jam and stay for the show that evening. They also have a drunk van to take you to your hotel!! How awesome is that!!

This is a rock star venue, and has really stepped up in the Classic Rock & Roll, Blues, Jazz, Zydeco, and Gospel Music scene in Kansas City and has completely filled the role held years ago by the Grand Emporium. They host some of the best local, national, and international music and some of the biggest names ever known. Saturday and Sunday afternoons are the Open Jam, where one can witness some of the best up-and-comers and standards in Kansas City. Cheap food too and cheap drinks make it the perfect out-of the way spot. It seems like it is in a little bit of a rundown part of town (and it is), but it kind of supports the character of the place.

This place is nearly indescribable. A seemingly endless connection of buildings connected to other buildings all with walls replaced with overhead doors. Being there during a colder time of year, I didnt get to enjoy the feel the place would have with the doors up and an outside audience. The fare is underwhelming but considering the type of establishment, this is forgivable (I wasnt looking for an exquisite flambe anyway). The bars emphasize quantity over quality but again, this is somewhat expected. The decor and music, however, are not to be missed. When visiting, arrange for transportation to and from - it will enhance your visit. Enjoy!

We were very disappointed this evening when we had to pay $25 to see the Red Elvises and then they were only allowed to perform for a half hour. That is like cheating your audience. We drove an hour to hear them, and then you had put two other groups on the docket, also, that we were not interested in hearing. They are a stellar group and many, many people in the audience came to hear them. What a let down! This is no way to treat customers. Shame on you!

Why do you claim on your website that you have a shuttle service for "within 10 miles" but then refuse to go into Kansas? Just be honest and clear, tell up-front you are going to only take people to restaurants and hotels in Missouri (useless unless you are a vacationer from out of town. Why not other public locations?) If I didnt already have my nonrefundable ticket, Id probably stay home. Now I must make other arrangements. Im disappointed.

Knuckleheads Saloon is one of KCs best venues for live music with 4 stages including: the Outdoor Stage, the Gospel Lounge, and Knuckleheads Garage. Some of the worlds best musicians have played here and its definitely a favorite for Kansas City locals. Other guests at the concerts Ive been are always extremely friendly as is their staff, and its easy to strike up a conversation. I will definitely return!

Knuckleheads is the best place for live music. Great bands and a unique venue. Several stages accommodate multiple acts on any given night. Original stage is an old road house by the railroad tracks in the east bottoms. Insert sketchy area! BUT no worries, very safe venue. Love the outdoor stage. Added entertainment when a train goes by and adds a whistle to the band on stage!

I met a friend that I hadn.t seen in years there and we had a great time. Love the atmosphere. Staff and patrons were very friendly my kind of folks. I lleft my phone in the bathroom and went back to get it 20 min later and someone had given it to the gal at the front desk...Wow you wont find that kind of Class in Overland Park I will definitely refer my friends to Knuckleheads!!!!

One of the best Honky-Tonks in the USA! Which, I guess, means one of the best in the World! Go on almost any night of the week for incredible live music on a variety of different stages. From international touring acts to local favorites, there is something for everyone. Dont miss Pastor Carls Gospel Lounge, he has a firecracker band and the lords touch in his guitar playing.

Knuckleheads will be responsible for hearing loss of 3 year old. How can they allow a 3 year in a place which serves alcohol, bands cursing and smoking weed at the Queensryche concert? The kid did not have any hearing protection with decibel levels reaching 90-95 for three hours. This was our first and last time to this place.

The bar is a danger to the people who live on North Montgall. The bikers race down the street after drinking at speeds above 60 mph. They show no respect for the people who live there. Small children and dogs run when the bikers roar down the street. Does the owner care? I think not. Its all about money but we pay the price.

Looks a little rough from the outside, which adds to the overall charm. This place constantly brings in spectacular musical acts of the country/folk/blues/rock variety. While you can pay for tickets and food with a credit card...THE BAR IS CASH ONLY. Whether visiting KC or a local resident, this place deserves a visit!

Something like 5 stages in different settings and Ive never seen a crappy band here. Food is not what you go here for though. They do offer bar food selections but nothing fancy. They have full bars in both buildings but again, nothing too fancy. You go for the live music and you love it!

Great place to see above average performances of known groups and musicians. Staff is unfriendly. Atmosphere is nostalgic but upbeat. Initially a bit of a challenge to get to but once youve been there is easy to find your way back. Well worth a higher than average cover charge.

There arent enough stars for knuckleheads. Favorite live music place in kc. Bar is cash only (there is an ATM in the building though) bring cash. Outdoor stage is an amazing experience, bands love the place and perform their best (especially when interrupted by trains!)
