We had our wedding reception at the Riverwood National Golf Course over Labor Day weekend. It was amazing! The staff was very attentive and Roy was GREAT! He was on top of everything from when the dinner was being served, cutting of the cake and when the first dance should be. We had a destination wedding was able to incorporate our actual ceremony during dinner. He worked with DJ to make sure the sound from our wedding would be played over the speakers! He was great to work with and clearly knew what he was doing; such a stress relief! It was the perfect venue, bar was already set up since it was a Golf Course, they had a nice patio area overlooking the 9th and 18th greens for anyone who wanted to sit outside and the food was really good as well! We had guests who said they’ve been to weddings where it was individually served meal and their food came out cold but everyone said the food was hot and tasted fresh. I would definitely recommend anyone to have an event at Riverwood. It’s a very nice venue and the staff was great! Thanks so much Roy, you’re the best!!!!

A young golf course close to a busy road. Not much shade as a lot of the trees havent grown in yet. Fairways were lumpy and didnt lend themselves to good lies even if your drive landed 10 yards from the 150 marker. Greens were in decent shape and played very fast when I was there. I didnt eat there, but the tavern area looked almost upscale. Not terrible value for the inexpensive green fees.

Great course! Steve Fessler is a great Pro there and is willing to help anybody, anytime on anything. The course is planned out well and you will use all the clubs in your bag. When playing the course, be a course manager or your score will skyrocket.
