My daughter and her friends (age 11) went to see a movie. My daughter cant have carbonated drinks because they give her a sfomachache and the candy is too sticky for her braces- therefore she couldnt buy anything to eat. We let her bring a smoothie and some chips, but the workers rudely said " you(points). Bring that over here you cant have that. Im gonna take it from you." They rudely addressed her and didnt even try to listen to why. All the workers are complete and underly RUDE. The theater is a MESS. My daughter is 11 but they refused to give her the 11 and under rate. Spend your money elsewhere. ($10 for a ticket, I dont think so!)

The movie theater screens are small in comparison to many of the newer theaters today. I took my daughters to a movie at the Rapids theater on Christmas day and i mustve spent $75 between the 3 of us all together and after the movie i asked for one extra popcorn bag to put over the top of my left over popcorn and they said no we cant give you a free paper bag....WTF! I spent a shitload of cash in there to be denied a paper bag! They need better services and to treat customers better. Its small things like this that make all the difference.

Workers are all high school kids that dont really care and they Id me for a movie that was pg13 last yr when I was (23) but didnt for my wife who is 4 yrs younger and was 18 at the time very very expensive to say the least always dirty and seats are very uncomfortable

I was the only person in the theater and it was a matinee between buying my ticket and getting too my seat I dropped a 20. An employee must have picked it up cause I looked hard for it, I inquired about it and nobody said anything.

Generally its a great theater, I just think its time they put in new seats. The rest of the place is fine. And its nice to see that all the workers no longer have the Mohawks, dog collars, tattoos and weird piercings!

Born and raised in Grand Rapids. Love this theater. Service is great, I dont require a smile to feel good about going out to a movie so never noticed if they didnt have one on.

This movie theatre is very unfair, they will not let anyone under 17 enter an R rated movie even with someone who is 17 or even if they have parent/guardian permission.

Friendly staff and reasonably priced considering cinemas usually are quite expensive. Wish there was stadium seating like the one in Hibbing.

Picture is good, sound is good, popcorn is good. Seating is dated and makes sitting in the same position for more than 30 min difficult.

Smells..seats are dirty & uncomfortable..we need either a new one or this one needs to be totally remodeled..

They have the worst seating. Im always moving around to get comfortable. I wouldnt recommend this theater

Lacks service with a smile but is always clean. We enjoy an occasional 3D movie here as well.

The staff never smiles, not sure if they have seen to many rude tourists or what the deal is.
