Compared to North, Celebration South is quite obviously the younger sibling. The location is fantastic, easy access to M-6 is convenient when you have something else to do. However, the lack of major events is strange. If Im looking to go to a midnight show, 90% of the time they are only being held at Celebration North. Furthermore, South often does not play the same films as North or Rivertown, more or less a decision based on ticket sales that I can completely understand, but it would be nice to not have to drive 10+ miles to see a movie. Otherwise, Id say it is more often cleaner and quieter than its siblings. That, more often than not, is its primary appeal.

All-Seeing

I go to this theater at least twice a month. The staff is super friendly. A manager allowed us to exchange our tickets for another movie which was awesome because the opening scene for the movie we initially bought tickets for was trash. It was a hassle free experience. My only complaint is that the theaters are very very cold during the winter months. I understand the cost must be high, but in order for customers to come in from out the cold and sit for a couple hours we have to be warm. I probably would watch a couple movies in one day if it was warm.

We came here for the opening of the new Star Wars movie because we wanted to see it in 3D as well as d-box and we were very pleased with not only our seats but the overall experience of watching the movie in that format. If you get an opportunity to watch a movie in the d-box definitely do it if it is an action movie. It is a very immersive experience and we really enjoyed watching Star Wars and I would definitely look forward to watching other action type movies in that format. Its definitely worth the few extra dollars that you pay.

Overall good place to watch a movie although I dislike their seat reservation system. All too often, in a half full theater, I end up with people I dont know sitting right next to me while there are TONS of open seats on the other side of them. I wish they would go back to "first come, first served" where watching a movie wasnt quite such a "close encounter with someone youve never met."

We live really close to this theater so it is one of our favorites! They now have reserved seating which is really convenient. Id suggest you get a Big Screen Movie Club card if you go to Celebration Cinema theaters a lot. It offers tons of great discounts like free movie tickets, combos and deals on real butter on your popcorn (only for celebrity status members)!

Nice friendly staff, most of the time enjoy my theater experience here. Only criticism is their prices can be a little steep, and I absolutely hate the assigned seating thing. This theater doesnt nearly have enough traffic coming in to justify implementing this new policy. Celebration North I can understand but I am really disappointed in South for adopting it.

Theaters and lounge areas are always clean, the food is always fresh (although pricey), the seats are comfortable, and there is a small arcade which is fun while you wait for your movie to start if youre a little early for example. My only complaint is that there is 15-20 minutes of advertisement AFTER the scheduled show time just before the movie starts

We almost always go to this movie theatre. Every time a new movie comes out, that is family friendly, we make it out. Very friendly staff and the facility is always clean. The assigned seating is awesome too, cause now you dont have to worry about getting a good seat, you get to pick it ahead of time. Highly recommend this theatre!

Not as good as Celebration North, but no one gets confused on what side they parked and came in from at this location. Also, they did host a pretty cool dogs with Santa event lately, and that was pretty cool! As always Celebration Cinema customer services is highly impressive, and I have always been happy with them!

A great place! Very friendly. Managers and staff are always ready to make sure you have the best experience. Theater itself is clean and always has a new feel. We always have a great selection of the new movies that are out. Of course.. pop corn is terrific. Its just a warm, fun and friendly place to be.

Customer service is outstanding. Building always clean. Prices are higher than most theaters.. the rewards program is one if the worst programs ive seen.. they actually take product that you have earned away within a certain time. As a customer, we have earned the rewards, we should be allowed to save them .

Wow what happen to the price for a movie. My husband and I paid $22 to watch a movie. We expected after paying that much that this movie theater had to be very special. Nope in fact it was much smaller than the ones in our own town. Not coming back to this one.

I like going to this location over the overcrowded cinema north. You can buy tickets and seats ahead of time and pick them up from a kiosk, rather than deal with the lines. The seats were comfortable and the floors were clean after the movie ahead of us.

Always a good choice of movies, and excellent popcorn! Matinee showings are especially worth it, as are $5 TACO (Tickets are Cheaper On) Tuesdays! This theater in particular is my familys go-to movie theater, and we always have a wonderful time.

I feel like home, great staff young and old. Managers kn8w me by hane as well of some of stsff. They alwats try to pkeasef me. I go teice a week and watch 4 movies. They alwats have snile in theur face and greet you. Love the air popcorn.

The staff are all super nice, and I love the fresh popcorn! Plus Celebration Cinema as a brand is just great, they do lots of community things and show so many movies that normally are too niche to play at a theater.

Good cinema. Picture quality is good, popcorn is good but no caramel seasoning anymore. Drink and popcorn prices are both, but the season bucket is good value of you dont always need a drink with your popcorn.

The air conditioning was out in the theater I was in. They did give me a coupon for a drink and popcorn after the movie but i would have liked if they just told me about it so i could go some were else.

I love coming and watching movies here. they do offer d box seats which are really cool to sit in and watch a movie. the prices of everything in the theater are quite expensive so prepare to be shocked.

Never really crowded. Prices are fair (or at least what youd expect. And times seems to always fit my schedule. Only issue is that their theaters are somewhat small. Can occasionally hear other movies.

Never had an issue here. There was once a set of loud movie goers. They were escorted out and everyone was invited back with movie passes. Theres nothing more they could have done to right the wrong.
