Great inexpensive entertainment option. How many other things can you do for 5 bucks?! The perfect place to see a movie that has been out awhile for lower cost and lesser crowd. Also great for indie films. As for the seats & sound, they are adequate and you still get a theater experience. If you want state of the art stereo and a recliner, choose to pay 2-3 times more for your ticket at a different location. Woodland is giving GR an opportunity to have a lower cost option. As for the staff, they have always been way above average in my opinion...super pleasant, but staff quality would not impact my review at a place like this. They are taking care of your ticket and concessions, so how badly can that go? Overall, highly recommend.

This cinema indeed shows older movies than the other locations. Its where you go to see movies that you missed in their prime. That being said, though, you are MORE than comfortable when doing so as the theater is nice looking in/out and the staff is very friendly/welcoming. The nearby cafes/dining of the Woodland Mall makes this an excellent stop for friends and family, one way or another. P.S - I dont really get the one star reviews. Thats just me. I have been going to this theater for close to a year and where there were some mistakes, the staff did their best to help me/others. Were all human. Mistakes are made. One bad apple doesnt spoil the bunch.

A group of African American teenagers snuck into a theatre and because I have the same colored skin as them the security begin harassing me as well. We werent sitting any where near the kids but he just kept watching us we left and asked for a refund. After explaining my situation to the manager she just said ok. She never offered an apology or offered to speak to the security guard. My family lives here until the summer due to my husband being active duty military member. But if you are African American hold on to your ticket stub because the security guard will have it out for you.

I was taking one of my clients to see one of the Summer Kids Free Flicks at celebration woodland. I ordered my tickets online, but accidentally clicked the wrong time. I called and asked and they said they would take care of it when we came in. I got here and talked with Sarah who I spoke with on the phone. She was very kind, and switched the time for us and discounted our popcorn since we paid a small service fee online. She went above and beyond for us without even asking. It was a very pleasant experience.

Absolutely wonderful! It is great that Celebration Cinema keeps a theater like this open next to Woodland Mall. I often take my grand kids to the mall & a movie, they love it and it doesnt break the bank! Perfect?,no but be honest very little is. They try hard, I am greeted with a smile & they usually have a movie I can watch with my grand kids, or an Indie I wouldnt see elsewhere. For me, its a little jewel Id hate to lose.

I brought my 2 kids today to see Moana after they came home with a slip saying kids 12 and under free. After we waited in the long line they told us its only one movie thats free today Trolls. Thats false advertisement they should be more specific very disappointed. And $5 is too much to pay for a child to watch a kids movie

Not only are the movies at this theater only $3.99, but the staff is very kind, there is candy in the hallways, and when I asked about an upcoming movie and they did not know the answer, one of the employees found me in the theater to report that indeed it was opening this Friday. Such sweetness.

A good place to see indie films not available in other theatres and first run movies at a discount. The staff and service are cheerful and have even offered to carry food to the theatre when we had a full tray of food. Was very impressed and recommended the theatres to quite a few other people.

Not the most confortable theater seats Ive ever been in but not bad. You cant beat $5 tickets. I like that in addition to "second run" flicks they save space for indie and under the radar films.

If youre going to see a movie in grand rapids, you have to go to celebration cinema Woodland. Beat xusomter service around and perfect video and sound. I would go here every chance I can get

Great staff, they have CARAMEL Kernel Seasonings (The only Celebration in GR that still does), $5 movies, and usually quieter showtimes. For those that care, theres also a PokeStop outside.

Great service and affordable movies. There is hardly every a line. Popcorn is sometimes stale, but I can easily compensate with some butter. Looking forward to returning again and again.

Known by many locals as "the cheap theater", where you can see slightly out of box-office hits at discount pricing. Like any Celebration, its very nice as far as movie theaters go.

The theater has second run movies, and has recently gotten new screens and speakers so the price went up $1 or so, but is still cheap and worth it to see movies that you havent yet

$5 movie tickets and amazing service! They gave everybody free popcorn/soda tokens because the movie started 5 mins later than scheduled. It was really nice of them!

Terrible. People kept talking throughout the entire movie, and they did nothing about it. They even let someone bring their 4 year old into a horror movie.

A nice, small theater. Its not meant for playing the latest blockbusters, so it wont have the best ammenaties (nice lobby, comfortable seating, etc.)
