The upgrades made earlier in 2016 are great. The new, larger larger seats are very comfortable. The switch to reserved seating is also a welcome change. I just saw Rogue One here on opening night, and with the reserved seating, it allowed people to arrive on their own schedule and not worry about getting there early for a good seat. This resulted in the lobby not being overcrowded. As for the concessions, the quality of the popcorn has improved. While I havent seen the size of the new beers offered, Im a little perplexed that a beer is only $4 while a Coke is $6+. My biggest complaint is the lack of 3D movies. Cinemagic made the decision to eliminate the extra cost that 3D movies have, but at the same time, they stopped playing 3D movies almost entirely. Granted, many movies are just fine in 2D, but there are some where 3D is better.

Terrible customer service. Place is ran by children. Why would any establishment allow KIDS to run a business? No customer service. Arrived over an hr early. They knew I was waiting for a certain movie. A line started 5 minute before seating time. I had kept asking when to be seated and they would tell me a few more minutes. When I asked about the line. They told me it was s for my movie. Really???? I waited for over an hour. First one and they cannot tell me to get lined up even after I asked? Then when I asked why I was not told to line up. They says oh we did not know. Place of way over priced and terrible service. Lies to customers and even tried to refuse ticket refund till I threatened corporate contact. No manager on duty. Only kids and teen supervisor. Really kids????

Great availability to see movies without being sold out, friendly staff but the positives end there... The candy selection is crap, the popcorn tastes like it was cooked and bagged a week before sometimes. I never see them cooking fresh popcorn, and at 6.50 a bag its a little rediculous to sell old popcorn. The other concessions are overpriced and poor quality. The theatres have great picture and sound but it looks like the floors havent been mopped in the last half century, half the arm rests are broken and most of the seats are covered in gum and junk. Its not a place where I would ever take a date again. who wants to pay 10.00 to see a movie and sit on a nasty gum covered seat?? And eat week old popcorn ??

This theater used to be a great place to enjoy a movie the classic way (popcorn, soda, candy, etc. unlike Chunkys with full meals and alcohol). Now, since the renovations, although its cleaner the seats are uncomfortable (cant recline except front row), the seating is assigned (for a [$3?] upcharge), and prices have gone up significantly. Also, given the capacity, parking can be difficult. With Netflix, Amazon and even Comcast offering movies so quickly, its soon becoming too costly and inconvenient to visit the movies. I wish someone watched a movie in the chairs they just installed before purchasing and installing them. Though theyre plush, an hour in they become uncomfortable.

Feel like a mouse running through a maze to buy a ticket and a longer maze to buy over priced popcorn. Regular sized candy is $3.99. The radio service and ads are obnoxious. New chairs are totally uncomfortable. Guess Ill need to drive to Tyngsborough Not getting any better. The kids behind the counter are brain dead. Can you ask my one more time, after three times, if I want butter on my popcorn. I think these people are zombies in training. Holy crap. And, why is the price of a beer cheaper than a soft drink? Seriously?

A couple of weeks ago my debit card info was subject to fraudulent charges after it was used at this theater. I have since learned of a number of individuals whose debit cards were also compromised. They had ALL used their card at this facility in the days or few weeks prior to getting hit with fraudulent charges. I speculate that the card reader at the counter is being skimmed or their card reading system has been hacked. Recommend NOT using your debit card at this facility.

Very crowded on Friday & Saturday nights... as to be expected at any movie theater. However there is no organization to the lines when it is more crowded and people can get frustrated from the chaos of unorganized lines. Additionally, while still relatively new, all of the other regional theaters have been renovated since this was built, so its probably up next on the list of theaters to need a renovation. That said, still a solid theater and probably the one I go to most.

Although the movie experience is good but the service at the food and snacks counter sucks big time! They hire teens at the counters and lack basic etiquette and the service is slow and dirty. I had ordered a hot chococlate, I had to wait for 10 minutes and the chocolate was watery in quality...I would buy stuff from outside and carry to the theatre, I visit this theater for hindi movies only, else I have more choices for Hollywood releases!

Movie theatre was fine/ very good. Concessions lousy. We got to The cinema couple of minutes before movie started only one couple in front of us Waiting for ever just to get popcorn while 4 kids horsing around in back room actually putting plastic bag over another kids head. Dont think he was in any real danger as theyd take it off but annoying while waiting to be waited on. Job #1 is do your job.

This place does not have much competition and it is clear they are making their profits via the concessions. That can be a bit of a problem when they dont have the right people working at the concession stands, or not enough of them. The theaters have good projectors, screens, seats (reserved), and sound. The theater is always quite clean too, which is nice.

Better than AMC. They recently "upgraded" to large chairs and now require you to select a seat when buying your ticket. This is fine for most things, but now you need to buy your ticket in advance (and pay those dumb fees online) if you want to hope of getting a good seat for a brand new release. Popcorn is better than average.

This is our preferred movie house. We are equal distance between Merrimac and Lowell. Both theaters have stadium seating but this serves Coke and Lowell serves Pepsi. Ive just downgraded from 4 stars to 3. We just saw Star Wars here, the quality of the projector was poor. The picture was dim and the credits were fuzzy.

Love this theater because its local and tucked down a side road so its usually not crowded. It has large, comfy leather chairs, and its clean. I like that you reserve your seating and that the theater abides by this policy. Helps when you have little one who are best seated on the outside aisles towards the back!

The ability to pick your seat ahead of time and just stroll into the movies is great. Was able to pick up best seats in the house for a movie the kids wanted to see and the super comfy seating is just great. Of course at close to $80 for 4 people is a lot but if you dont go to the movies often its fine.
