It was overall great. One thing is the main engine is worn out, has allot of unburnt diesel fumes from the exhaust(white/blue fog), which gets into the passenger cabins. Get there earlier than the 30 minutes to get the open coaches, the enclosed ones are little saunas with no ac. You do it for the experience. Diesel fumes included,I would still do it again.

Its such a quiet, fun, simple ride. WSRR puts on some great programs for kids, with lunch & play at the park. Their dinner trains are fantastic. An affordable date night thats so much better than just going to a boring movie and dinner. Our family really enjoys them!

You go out on the track for about 40 minutes then go backwards over the same route back to the station. If you want a bit of nostalgia, from days gone by, then this is the trip for you. There are a few literal bells and whistles along the way!

Handicapped accessible & accomodating as well. Great family experience, very clean & relaxing. Were looking forward to more excursions! We happily spent almost 3 hours here.

No train running today but got to see rail yard and talk to volunteers. Very pleasant. Got schedule of train rides and will return.
