Everytime we come to Gettysburg we always get tickets for the Orphanage and/or Jennie Wade House haunted tours. The great thing about them is you actually go inside these buildings, learn the history of the places in addition to all the ghost stories. All the guides are great. If you are fortunate to have a midnight tour you will also have a paranormal investigator there and they turn the lights off for a while. Its really worth every penny. On my last trip there we did the Jennie Wade midnight tour and I actually photographed something paranormal. Sometimes you get something and other times you dont, but this time luck would have it I got some fantastic paranormal pictures. Different topic but In my opinion they sell some of the best incense there at a reasonable price. Also, ask someone to show you the hand print on the wall, its a really cool story. Thanks Ghostly Images for doing such a great job!!

Took the Jennie Wade house ghost walk. While this would probably not be the tour for serious ghost hunters I found it interesting and fun. Our guide Jim, playing the part of Jennie Wades fathers ghost walked us around the parking lot telling stories that were as much about history as ghost stories. Then came a tour of the house that again was as much history as ghost story. Finally we finished up in the basement where he shut the lights off for a few minutes. Needless to say I didnt see any ghosts, I guess all the flash photography scared them off. We ended with Jim singing an altered version of "Danny Boy." All in all, it was worth the price for someone like me who was just interested in a enjoyable evening. If your interested in a more serious hunt, I would suggested some of the other tours.

My mother and I did the walking orphanage tour with Liz who absolutely wonderful! I would recommend this to tour to anyone. The only reason I gave this 4 stars was I was outside speaking with another person taking the tour, and over heard another tour guide named Bill tell the cashier that me and the other guest havent shut the hell the since he arrived. I didnt know this man and I never tried to include him into my conversation, but the fact that he speaks about paying guests this way and than tries to beg for tips says a lot about who he is as a person....he may be the only reason I would never come back, unless I knew he was no longer there.

Took both the Jennie Wade and the orphanage tour good stories and knowledgeable . We had the pleasure to have Liz for a guide on the orphanage tour she was awesome would have gone again with her it time allowed.

We were a little disappointed with our experience. Too many people in our tour group made it claustrophobic in the Jenny Wade House. Ghost stories told seemed geared toward children.

Awesome Tour, a Must Do if you are in Gettysburg go to the Orphanage Tour. And , maybe if the Stars are aligned... you will see a Ghostly Image.
