We recently became acquainted with the Tamarac Rec Center when my adult daughter signed up for one of their sports programs. This facility is well designed and is home to a wide variety of sports for both kids and adults. The gym has recently been renovated to make it even more user friendly for the participants and new programs have been started. The facility provides plenty of room for both indoor and outdoor activities. It is open to residents of Tamarac, but also to enthusiasts from other communities. The fees for both are a great value. There were a couple of issues. One was with adult bullies wreaking havoc during adult sports. Ive seen many players leave never to return. While some members of the rec center did their best to stop what was going on, those higher up were willing to let it go. The other was players that were too old to play safely and were causing injuries to team members. Eventually, we got tired of it and left.
