This was the best movie theatre I have ever been to! Great customer service. Not crowded. Extremely cheap. My friends and I saw Magic Mike XL for $3.50!!! It was on a Friday during the day but still that price is super cheap. The staff was very friendly. I have always hated that I cant put my own butter and salt on my popcorn... well not here.. Sun Valley lets you put your own butter and salt on the popcorn. Since my friends and I were splitting a large popcorn, the staff gave us individual little bags so we could dump from large bag into small bags. The bathroom were SUPER CLEAN. I hate going into a public restroom but these were inviting. Even the floor around the toilet and all in the tile grout was clean. The bathroom stall doors swing open either way which is nice for bigger people. I hate being confined in a small stall and feel like you can barely move. The movie theatre seats were comfortable and they rock a little bit like a rocking chair. This theatre is far from me but I will definitely re-visit.

Cleanest theater Ive been in recently. Seats are comfortable and the rows are far enough apart that you dont have to step on anyones feet to get past them to your seat -- even if they dont stand up to let you by. $3.50 for daytime and $4.50 for evening for movies that are sometimes still in the first-run theaters. The sound system lets you hear the movie without blasting you out of your seat. The management is responsive if you contact them about concerns, too. When I posted my experience on another site, my Deaf friend commented that they dont have captioning. I contacted the manager ask if she was correct and got a response in under an hour.

Unbelievable! I gave a $5.00 bill to a movie theater cashier in the year 2015 and got back 50 cents!! How do they do it? Clean, large and comfortable theaters; great movie selection and the 201/J bus to Cromwell Light Rail and Arundel Mills Mall in front (I use public transportation and so do others). This place is a well-kept secret that needs to be publicized to Anne Arundel Co. residents. What the theater and the neighborhood lack in ambiance is immediately eclipsed by the value and customer service. I have found my favorite movie theater in Maryland. Sun Valley Movies!

I always wait for movies to come to this theatre because I generally like it better than any other theatre in the area. Im gonna convince my family to come watch fantastic beasts here today. My treat. The prices are great and theres a good variety of snacks. The only thing Id even have to be unhappy with and Im not even that unhappy with it is the sound, Its not like the sound of other theatres but thats still not enough to warrant a four star. The seats are comfy and the screen is easy to see. And its NEVER too crowded. Hope it stays that way.

This is a second run theater, that needs to be said up front. But its also brand new, very clean inside. The front half is slopped seating, but the hack half is stadium on all screens. Brand new leather seats with high backs and raisable armrests. There is plenty of parking outside in the shopping center. Although not much in the shopping center to keep you around after the movie. Tickets are only $3.50 before 4:00 pm. and $4.50 after. Screens are rarely crowded! If you dont mind waiting a few weeks, there is no better place to see a movie.

From ticket prices between 3.50 for matinee, seniors and child price to 4.50 for general admission, this is definitely a movie theater you need when on a budget and need something to do. Concessions are fairly priced. They run first and second run movies. Seats are comfortable in smaller than normal sized theaters. Theaters are clean and staff is friendly. Owned by Horizon Cinemas, they also have a reward program available for purchase for one dollar which automatically will refill a large popcorn for free. Definitely would recommend.

Forget your experiences with second-run theaters! Sun Valley is CLEAN and new. It has stadium seating, large comfy seats, friendly staff, and great concessions. Except for the tiny ticket price and empty rooms, you cant tell a difference. I have to say that it was a better experience than any other theater in the area because everything is so modern, new, clean, and well-maintained. They even give you empty popcorn bags for splitting your bag with the kids!

Great place, its never crowded, you cant beat the price. Two people will run you, about 15$ total and thats including snacks and a drink. They get new movies like a month after release in the expensive theaters. Theres no reason to pay full price, when this place is here, I go at least once a month. Got to run on my way to see Baby Driver and wow, that came out June 28th in the expensive theaters. Not even a month out, and they got it half price.

This place is amazing!! The best kept secret of Pasadena if you ask me. Id love to keep it that way too; for selfish reasons. lol. The staff was amazing. The sound and visual was up to par. The seats were comfy and spacious. A complete surprise. I didnt know what to expect BUT I surely didnt expect this. Which was a huge plus!! They have done a great job with this. Kudos to the owners and employees! Keep up the good work!!

I take my 4 year old here all the time. Its clean and the seating is comfortable. The ticket prices are great. Food prices are about the same as other theaters but instead of paying $20 a person for ticket and food its roughly $15-$20 for two. And I dont feel too bad if he acts up and I have to leave. Its only $4 vs. $10-$12. My boyfriend and I also saw star wars here. That was awesome. Affordable date night.

I agree with the positive comments and marvel at the courtesy and cleanliness of the movie house. This is the only theatre where someone has offered to help me get settled in (children, popcorn, sodas and snacks.) Usually it is a juggling act on my end trying to guide the kids to their seats while carrying the order and the best part was that assistance was cheerfully offered and I did not even have to ask.

I love the new movie theater! The prices are Awesome and the seats are nice and comfy. I like that the stadium seats recline and you can move the arm rest to sit closer to your guest. Drink holders are available and the sound of speakers and size of screen are nice. As long as the movie is playing at this theater I will be here. It is near my home, I like the modern décor and the prices can not be beat.

This movie house was awesome! Last night was the first time I went and I was blown away! The seats are very comfortable, the staff was courteous and the prices were incredible. I dont know what I was expecting but I was not expecting this experience. I am so happy that they thought enough of this community that they gave us a movie house that is so nice and very competitively priced. Good job!

Wonderful theater! They get movies a bit later than original release dates, but for the price of tickets here, you absolutely cannot complain. Concession options are decent, and again, the prices are much less than those of other theaters. Theaters are modern, very clean, and with comfortable seating. I dont think theres anything bad that could be said about this particular movie theater!
