My family belonged to the J for over 7 years when we moved here from out of state. We used the all the facilities, the gym, the tennis courts, the pool, the after school program, the day camps, the live theater on site, but eventually we terminated our membership and left with a bad taste in our mouths. The J has a beautiful facility with lots of different things to do, but we found that their accounting system was horrible. They overcharged us, undercharged us and generally couldnt seem to keep straight what our dues were from month to month. Some of the staff was friendly and professional and some seemed sloppy and unprofessional. Complaints are ignored because the attitude seems to be "We have a lot of other members and dont really care if youre happy or not." Their summer day camps for kids are, without a doubt, the most expensive in Atlanta. I probably wouldnt join again.

Deceptive marketing practices: their website advertises, "Join the MJCCA for the summer and enjoy every amenity the MJCCA has to offer." This advertisement is a mean-spirited and overtly deceitful lie. Summer members are wholly and entirely EXCLUDED from ever using the "SAAC" facility which is one of the nicest facilities available and offers many amenities to MJCCA members. Update: This summers advertising was truthful. Yea! for MJCCA.

Very special place - A friendly place. The staff really cares to do their best, and as a result this is an extremely well run facility . It is safe, and very clean. And best of all, it seems as though each staff member from the director to the reception people and managers of the aquatic facilities are all responsible and caring people.

My family enjoys going to the MJCCA for all kinds of events: youth sports, recreation, dining and socializing. My daughter attended the after school care program Club J, which was good. The JCC staff arent as professional and efficient as they used to be, though.

This is an amazing community center - huge campus with several pools (indoor and out) gym, sports fields, running paths, camp grounds, restaurant, theater, school for kids, and more. Full membership for a family is less than the cost of Lifetime Fitness.

Absolutely great facilities. Two outdoor pools (one with a water slide and one with swimming lanes) an indoor pool, splash pad, gym, ball fields. The daycare is exceptional, all the teachers are great. Highly recommended.
