This place is terrible. First of all I took my 7 year old son to the star wars movie. Parking lot was pitch black, no lights. Then inside was terribly dirty and run down to top it all this must be some sort of Gay and lesbian meet up spot. Two men were making out when I entered the theater with my young son then two females entered and they all seemed upset my son and I were there. I am not against homosexuality but this was not the time or place for such a display. I will never return and suggest all families consider another facility to take children. I am overall disgusted with this establishment and strongly suggest it be closed down. There were very few people attending movies and I have never felt so out of place.

The outside of the theatre is definitely outdated-needs to be updated/cleaned, but cheap tickets. They are out of pretzels also, they are switching to a new product I was told. No one checked my ticket at 10:00am - "Logan" movie ..that felt a bit weird. Also the screen was white for 10 minutes but nothing was showing.. Finally - 30 minutes later I get a guest pass to see a movie another day. Communication skills/professionalism/customer service needs improving at this theatre. Seats in theatre are outdated - old as well, but $5 for a ticket I guess it was worth it? Not really..

This place is the best theater in town and dont let any other review tell you otherwise! Very clean, concessions priced like any other theater but with a much larger selection, friendly staff and EVERY MOVIE IS $5 (Up-charge for 3D). The seats are comfortable and the picture/sound quality are very good. This place is never very crowded but more people need to check it out! It truly is a hidden gem in Norfolk. Ive seen several movies here and I love it. They get all the big movies as soon as they come out and sometimes earlier!

Excellent value! Ive been to four movies in this theater over the past three days and have zero complaints. This theater compares with anything else out there yet only costs $5! Its got a huge modern screen and excellent sound. Concessions are as good as it gets anywhere else. I live in San Diego and if we had a theater like this there I wouldnt go anywhere else. I give four of five star if only because there is no IMAX option which is just me particularly picky. Check this place out.

I always have a great experience when i come here. Movies are $5 always, anytime, and they have late showings, past 10pm. I hate concessions at all theaters, because theyre over priced, and to that effect concessions are cheaper here but not by much. Overall, great place to catch a movie, even when theyre packed. Not the fanciest, but gets the job done every time!

Prices & times are well worth it, location convenient, sounds for movie are great & have never had a bad experiences. Best 3D older theater around! The only down side is the theater is older, but prices & staff attentiveness well makes up for that. Highly recommended to attend if your in the area.

Good cinema for those on a budget. The seating is not stadium and should be updated. It is SUPER dark in the theater...so be careful if you have to maneuver out during the film. The concessions are not great. This place will do for a cheap night out. Film and screen quality are A-ok.

This is the only theatre I go to, admission is only $5. The drinks and snacks are good, there is a little arcade to keep the kids from running around, and its only crowded on big movie premier days. The bathrooms are rundown but thats my only complaint, this place is bangin.

Way way way better than a few years ago, much much cleaner, friendly, still have great prices, food is not amazing but no flash Ness and done the same. Attention all NORFOLK non military people, you are able to go to this best keep secret. And see the show.

The staff are always friendly, while the cinema itself could use some work they always make due with what they get to give you an awesome time. Been coming here for years and they know my name and what i get at concessions now.

One of the better kept secrets of Hampton Roads. Cheap tickets and snacks. Doesnt break the bank taking the kids. I used to go here all the time active duty, and still continue to use this theater 10 years later.

The price here for first run movies is very inexpensive. They have a wide selection of current titles. The theater is dated, but not too bad. I would recommend this as a great option to take in a new movie.
