n 8/6/17 i was at oxford casino and was playing a game of black jack with 3 match bonus. 9 to 1 for any player whom two up cards matches dealer one up card ( either 3 of a kind ,straight or plush ) I was at the first black jack table that faced the entrance door At around 2 or 3 AM a man put 50 dollars on the bonus and i put some money in my spot. After the dealer deal the the first round of up cards to the players then takes a up card for herself she then deal the second up card to all the plays she then take a the last card for herself ( this last card that she took for herself she must keep it down ). after the second card deal we will now can see that if the player cards matches with the dealer up card .if its a match then the dealer have to pay the player 9 to 1. The man with 50 dollars on the bonus spot got a straight and I got a black jack, but when the dealer take a last card and keep it down insteal she turns it up and just because of that she call her boss over and she decited that a misdeal and refused to pay the man with a straight ( 450 dollars) and me my black jack Its a shame for Oxford Casino to cheat on people this way . I for one lost thounds of dollars in this casino will never coming back to this casino ever again .at the end you will lose thounds time more 450 dollars

Worst casino on the East Coast. The only thing in this small rural town with Underpaid Gustapo staff! No smoking, no vaping and it is very very difficult to get a drink from the drink lady. Drinks are not free. Drinks are $8.50 for a tiny half a drink. If you go to the bar you will only get a drink every half hour and they will time you down to the second . The food is disgusting. You basically get patted down at the front door and there is security in the parking lot looking for every reason to prevent you from going in. Dont waste your time. To top it all off these are the tightest machines Ive ever seen. You are better off taking a ride and going a little further so you dont have to put up with this crap. It is supposed to be a good night out and they ruined it every time. The staff is very unfriendly and they blame everything on the state of Maine. They are all on a power trip. Do not have anything to drink in your hand anywhere from within a mile of this place, they accused me have having alcohol in my dunkin donuts coffee cup. They took it and opened it, sniffed it and made me throw it away. These people dont deserve your money. Not hospitable at all.

After picking up a full 55 gallon bag of trash off the road side with my son around the casino I called and told them what was done and if they could please come pick the trash bag up for it was so full and heavy to carry home. (I live on the same road and dont like driving by it every day) the security and manager basically told me it wasnt their problem and wanted to transfer me to their housekeeping and talk to them. I told them it was a community effort to keep the area looking nice and trash free. Again he state that it was the towns problem to pick up trash. So I asked to be transferred to a higher manager and was sent to a voicemail. So now maybe you will listen on here. There is a bag of trash sitting at your gate full of trash we collected from the stop sign at 26 to your gate on Rabbit Valley road will you please send somebody out to throw it away. IT IS A COMMUNITY EFFORT TO KEEP OUR AREA CLEAN!!!! And 85% of the trash is from people coming to your casino! Group effort please we picked the stuff up just asking you to throw a damn bag away!

My husband and I WERE frequent customers until they upped the minimum you have to play on the slots. Just because a penny machine says its a penny to play and thats not the case. You have to start with a minimum of .50 . That being said you would think that it would pay out more often? You dont even get free spins. It takes but 10 mins to go through a $20.00? This casino doesnt offer free plays like they used to so theirs no incentive to go back. The food is a notch above edible and so repetitious. The buffets are the same way. The food at the buffets is COLD and not worth the money. Its also very sad to see all the elderly that go there thinking they are going to leave with big winnings. I have over heard the elderly telling others that they feel the casino prey on them and take advantage of the fact that they are lonely and have no where else they can go to be with people. Why do you think that Oxford is able to add on an addition of 24 million dollars its because of us suckers!!! Not a poor loser just stating the facts!!!

well we went to the casino tonight friday may 27,2016 and decided to eat at the buffet. Well we got in line and the lady at the front desk said it would be a 30 min wait. Okay no problem. After 30 min we went back and asked how much longer and she said i told you that it would be awhile. She was very rude about it. So we waited, finally got in there to eat, and went up to the buffet, there was no mashed potatoes left, the ham was over cooked, and they did not have any dinner rolls. So we asked about it, and was told that when someone had a moment they would bring all that out. I was finished with eating before any of it came back out. I think tonight will be my last time going there. The service and attitudes were just not the way for a business to run. I understand it was busy but i am a paying customer just like anyone else, and to travel 2 hours to be treated like that is unacceptable.

Well, Id like to say we had a great time, but it was anything but. The best thing about our visit to the casino was my dinner just before we left. We arrived, sat at a couple slot machines and within 15 minutes our first $20 was gone!! Didnt even let us play a bit before stealing the money. Yes, Im fully aware it is betting and its a risk, but they didnt even have the machines set to let you play a bit before taking it. It was just a disappointment. The place is tiny compared to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. It is half the size of just one of Foxwoods casinos. Unless you are in the area, I would NOT recommend making a special trip there. Also, you have to buy the drinks unlike Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. A drink was $8.50 for a vodka and cranberry. Needless to say that was the ONLY purchased!!
