This is a decent hotel/casino if you dont mind not really winning any money and you dont mind a kind of clean bathroom in your room. The staff at the front is hit and miss but the restaurant staff is LAZY! The food is enableish. I ordered a stake for dinner our first night. It was more fat then meat. Then I decided to try breakfast. Not a good idea. My server acted put out just to have to take my order. Anything I asked for just seemed to put her more out. When my breakfast came and my eggs were crispier then my hashbrowns, I tried to eat it but just couldnt. My server acted as though it was a personal insult. Not to mention the wait for the food is ridiculous. Got my fixed, yeah right, breakfast back. Not sure what they called them selves fixing. Eggs were the same. Sad they dont take more pride in the job. Very disappointing. Glad we arent staying long!

First off, the room was great. No complaints there. Comfortable bed, free wifi, cable TV, shampoo and conditioner, all the amenities. The casino was fun to an extent. If you enjoy gambling I guess you would like it. I felt like I was just sticking money into a machine and pressing a button until it was all gone. The problem arose when we were finally charged for our stay. The rooms are advertised as $45 a night, but when you sign up for players rewards you can get $10 knocked off of it. Sounds amazing right? So we purchased the room for one night totaling to $37.80. Now, a week later we finally get the charge to our bank account. $199.80!!!! Where did that come from? Of course now we are livid. I would definitely not recommend this hotel, with the fear of them overcharging others.

Overall a great stay. The king bed we had the first night you could feel the springs in it from not being rotated properly or it being too old and needing replaced. The second night we stayed had two queen beds, there was a light that wasnt operable, and the alarm clock in the room was broke. Price for stay its very reasonable, food was delicious, staff was very courteous and helpful. If you are not a rewards member, join before paying for your room. You have a chance of getting a token for a reduced rate. I got $35 off a standard room plus $2 off a meal.

Wonderful room! We enjoyed our stay here. The staff were friendly. We chose a Jacuzzi tub room. It was a large sitting area with an adjoining bedroom. The room was lovely and well decorated. We had a smoking room because the non smoking room was unavailable. I am an asthmatic and very sensitive to smoke but the room only had a faint trace of smell in it. We slept on a very large comfortable bed. There were televisions in both the sitting area and in the bedroom. We would stay again!

They let you win when you first get thier. Then the machines are turned down and take your winnings. If your not careful you will end up spending more than expected. My advise is to stay no longer than one or two hours or you will be broke. They know exactly where your at when you put the dakota club card in the machine. The only way to win is by leaving early but thats no fun and they know that. Trust me they have it figured out. Plus i believe they cator to certain people as well.

This is the absolute worst casino I have ever been to. I havent been here since 2012 or even longer than that and plan to keep it that way. One time security accused me of taking someones ticket from a machine they supposedly forgot to take from the machine when they left it. I was furious. Also, never won anything more than $200 here and when I am bringing twice as much as that or even more, that is terrible. Will never, never go here again.

We went for a concert that was rescheduled for illness. Ticket refunds were offered for conflicts with the new date. Heres the rub, there was only one person doing the refunds. It took over an hour to get the refund after standing in line for an hour to get in. They knew the concert was going to be canceled. It didnt need to take that long. Poor customer service.

Im not a big gambler, but have been here a few times. Usually interested in actual cards than the scam slot machines. Worker behind the Black Jack tables e ither didnt care that we wanted to play, or wasnt open... but a little communication might have gone a long way. Food has always been about average. Overall, just an average place to be.

Have stayed here many times, and usually have a pretty good experience, but we visited this time on one of coldest nights of the year and when we told the front desk that our suites heat was not working, she was rude about it. We did get a different room, but the customer service was less than friendly. Left very disappointed.

Hotel and casino is unexpected and great stay when traveling across the Dakotas. If you are looking for gourmet or extravagant meal selection not here. Keep your meal simple and you wont be dissatisfied. I ate a ribeye and salad bar and had a good evening. I enjoyed my stay here and will return.

I just moved here from Bakersfield Ca... Decided to check out this Beautiful Casino and had a drink in the lounge,my bartenders name was Michale and she was such delightful person. I recommend her to serve you a delicious drink.. I give her 5 stars

We went there for a drink. It was rather smoky in there which is normal for a casino I guess. I was disappointed that there was no coat room. So we were forced to carry our coats around. And I was approached 3 times by a man begging for money....

Gotta agree with some of the other reviews, the staff can be hit or miss and the food is alright not great - but the place is nice and a welcome way to kill some time plus the free live music is almost always a BLAST

Although this Casino/Hotel is off the Highway, the rooms and amenities were fantastic. Staff was very helpful and friendly, plus their breakfast servings were huge (delicious too!!).

We had the most wonder full time at the the Valley Shopper 20th Anniversary Recipe Contest. It was the best evening enjoyed the decorations and the roon for the night was fantastic.

Got a cheap room. Smelled...weird. went to the restaurant and my order was wrong. The waitress was rude. Went to bed, woke up to the housekeeping banging on the door.

Place is about what youd expect a casino to be. They have alcohol and lottery machines. My only complaint is that it seemed to be almost outside of town.

Tiny native casino but cozy at the same time. Friendly dealers and guest relations. Only has 6 to 8 black jack tables and are only open after 2pm.

I did not like that smoking is allowed inside the casino. Although the cigarette smell was not overwhelming thanks to the ventilation system.
