Really like this venue for wedding receptions and ceremonies! I am a local wedding photographer, so I am at more venues than most. I have shot several weddings at Savannah Center - some included the ceremony there, too, in the outdoor area with the gazebo. First off, as a photographer, I really like the cool details in this venue. Theres the staircase (to nowhere) which gets soft light from the windows by it - just perfect for gorgeous bridal and other portraits. I like the wood panel area with fireplace for the groom/groomsmen photos. The piano makes a great place to do photos - fun or otherwise. It makes for very cool wedding ring photos, too - with the reflection. The over sized chairs work well for photos of the bride and groom. And theres all the outdoor area/gardens. Even with the buildings in the background, there are ways to get great photos. Also, the food is very good - better than many venues/caterers. Another plus - you cant hear the music from other weddings. The bridal suite for getting ready is spacious and well appointed. Every time Ive been there, the staff has been professional with good service. Theyve even helped move furniture in the main lobby for photos! In summary - I would definitely recommend The Savannah Center to couples looking for a wedding venue with some character and lots of pluses. It has a lot to offer, and they do a fabulous job! We were ROBBED at the Savannah Center. My wife and I chose to have our reception here not knowing all of the servers are temps hired through a 3rd party. Throughout the night a guest at our reception noticed a server using the front door instead of the rear doors to take dishes and meals out of the room. They thought it was odd and decided to watch him. Upon exiting the room the server was going through our box of cards and stealing the cards and cash! They confronted him and got his supervisor. His supervisor escorted him out of the building without checking him or his bags essentially letting him leave with everything hed stolen. He didnt notify myself, my wife, my wedding coordinator, or the 2 policemen in my bridal party until AFTER he let him leave. Now because we dont know everything that was in the box and what was actually stolen, theres no way to press charges against him. We had 200+ people at our wedding /reception and counted only 28 cards after the reception. The Savannah Center says because hes a "temp" and not their employee they are not responsible. PLEASE think twice before using them for your event.

As grandparents to our soon-to-be-born third granddaughter, we knew our son and daughter-in-law deserved a FANTASTIC location and experience for this celebration. Kathyna Salazar and her team were incredibly creative, thorough in executive every detail, and helped Bryan and Hayley along with our large number of guests enjoy a beautiful and special celebration to welcome Baby Layla! The Savannah Center staff created an intimate but yet spacious layout along with great recommendations for a delectable menu. Plus they were SO flexible with us when we faced a scheduling challenge. Truly professional in every way, the Savannah Center IS the best regional destination for making memories with family and friends. We loved every moment, and our new little addition will one day see all the exquisite photo memories of everyone who welcomed her weeks before her birth. Our guests continually tell us that our "Couples Shower at the Savannah" was the BEST ever! Thank you!

Not sure why people liked this place. Sure, the facilities are nice, but the management staff, as well as the event serving staff are all very unprofessional. Both events of mine were good, but the staff was just rude, and they looked like they didnt want to serve at our wedding receptions at all. They would even give some attitude right in front of us or our family members and guests if you asked them for something. Theres probably just one lady, part of the serving staff, who is the most helpful there, but other than that, even the guy serving drinks didnt seem to have any hint of professionalism, nor common courtesies towards our guests. The cost of this place is also outrageous, especially when they start to forget what the clients have paid for. I would recommend some place else, like Oasis or Cooper Creek...at least the staff at Oasis is much, much nicer!

Mary made sure we looked elsewhere... I called with the decision to use The Savannah Center already made, and even after receiving the prices and being talked down to on the phone, we went for a visit to pay the deposit. Our budget was $6,000 to $10,000 BUT, Because we were treated like an annoyance, like we didnt know what we were doing, and like we couldn’t afford to be there, I walked out into their parking lot and did a quick search for another venue. I found The Cooper Creek Event Center and the person on the phone was so kind and helpful that we drove strait there. We were treated so well, and the venue is so amazing, that we paid our deposit to them instead of The Savannah Center.

As someone who films/photographs at many reception halls I found this one to be very nice! I understand I was there to work, but the staff were nice to my team and I. They kept the place clean through the night by picking up empty bottles etc. The property has a nice outdoor area by a lake so you can be outside too. Also the dance floor area is very nice with a beautiful ceiling making for great pictures. I would be more than happy to shoot here again someday! If you go to my page, there is a video from here you should check out!

The Savannah Center was my first choice for my wedding ceremony and reception. My wedding day was absolutely gorgeous and perfect in every way. Kathyna Salazar was my wedding coordinator and I highly recommend her. She is so kind, funny, and very accommodating. The food was delicious. The staff was nice and always willing to help. The bridal suite was awesome and had enough room for all of the girls. Also had an bathroom attached which was very nice. I would highly recommend the Savannah Center and ask for Kathyna.

I recently had my wedding here and this place was fantastic. We ended up in the big room with the wood floors and high ceiling! :) We had the ceremony here and then cleared it for the dance floor. We had a wonderful time and the staff were amazing. Everything was stress free and taken care of. The in-house catering was absolutely fantastic. The food was even better during the wedding then it was during the tasting, which when we had that we totally cleared our plates. This place is a perfect venue for any gig!

My husband and I just had a surprise wedding at the Savannah Center on March 12th. We never thought we would be able to pull off such a large event as a surprise, but we were able to, because of "Kathyna Salazar". She is an amazing organizer; very much on top of all the tasks that needed to be taken care of. The venue was absolutely beautiful and everything went very smoothly. We owe her many thanks!!! She was outstanding and such a sweet person, so glad we got to know her!

I had my wedding here about 2 years ago and everything went AMAZING!!! The people are phenomenal, and take awesome care of you! Food was great and I didnt stress at all on my big day because everything was taken care of for me. It turned out stunning! Id recommend the Savannah Center to anyone needing a tasteful, clean, stress-free venue!
