Took my daughters to see the Eagles there last night I must say, the awesome talent aside, it was the most dreadful evening Ive ever experienced. To say I feel like a hack that I was taken for $500, is a huge understatement. Where should I begin. 2 drink choices - Watered down Bud Light or an $8.00 Dixie Cup full of White Zin. While they both worked for me in my college days, Ive moved on. There was no order whatsoever to the crowd flow - It took us 30 minutes to get to our seats after entering the lobby. When we finally reached our "Seats", (has to trod over 10 people in row to get there), which consisted of a backless bleacher bench, thats when the real fun began. There was a 400 pound man sitting directly behind me. He not only occupied his own seat, but his stomach consumed half of mine as well. I had to lean forward so I would not touch him. Had to sit with my legs diagonally to the side so they werent jabbing the back of guy in front of me. About 3 songs into the concert, we were so smooshed on each side to the left and right, I knew something was up. Sure enough, after doing a butt to seat ratio count, I determined there were 3 more people than there were seats. I went and got an usher to remedy the problem. I have to give her credit, she did check every persons ticket in the row, but only one of the extra people actually ended up relocating. Rupp Arena should be ashamed of themselves for charging what they do. It is their responsibility to make sure its guests are comfortable in their seats. I dont care if John Lennon comes back from the dead to do a Beatles Reunion, we will NEVER GO TO ANOTHER EVENT AT RUPP ARENA AGAIN!!

Four issues I have with Rupp: 1. acoustics -- truly, deeply awful. 2. bleacher seats -- so shallow that I was constantly shifting forward to stay off the feet of those behind me, and so hard I had to keep putting my head between my knees to ease my back. 3. The upper arena was an agonizingly steep and prolonged haul, dangerously raked, inadequate in width, with no place to stop and rest. Going down was very hard on the knees. 4. Because ALL of the vending machines were empty, customers had to wait half an hour in line (standing on concrete, which killed my feet and back) at concessions to get anything to drink. There was no reason why Rupp could not have filled the vending machines with bottled water. I am still in pain from spending an evening at Rupp, and expect to be so for several days. It is true that I am older, but I am fit, and work out regularly.

Very nice arena for basketball games; however the parking situation is horrible, the last visit there I had my handicapped sticker in my window, went in through the handicapped drive, saw 2 empty handicapped parking spaces available & the parking attendant would NOT let us through to park!! Ended up having to park all they way on the other end of the parking lot!! My sister & I who walks with a cane, me with a bad back, had to walk from there to the Rupp Arena!! Needless to say, I was not very happy with this situation!!!

I wish the greatest tradition in college basketball had a better home to play in. Having been in many other arenas I feel that Rupp is actually probably a 1 star but I just cant bring myself to rate UKs home less than 2 and it is hard even doing a 2. Seriously upgrade the freaking arena already. There is no reason in the 21st century that you have to deal with peoples knees in your back and feet in your rear every single time you sit down. Bad high school gyms are more comfortable.

Já estive 3 vezes no local, sempre como participante de congressos, nunca para um jogo. A Rupp Arena é um espaço muito amplo e versátil, com boa iluminação e localizado no Centro de Lexington. Ótimo lugar para grandes eventos.

Saw Pearl Jam here the other night, they were amazing but Rupp arena not so much. First off all arenas are terrible for concerts (too loud with terrible acoustics) but with a big act like Pearj Jam you dont have much choice. The bleacher seating kind of sucked but since we werent sitting much no big deal. My main gripe was the alcohol selection or lack thereof. 8 dollars for beer flavored water (Bud Light) is your only choice and is kind of embarrassing in 2016.

Absolutely the worst experience ever! Smoker had to walk the complete circumference of stadium to the one single door to smoking area where I was caged in on the side of the road in the rain. The lines inside are horrible when U close the most convenient bathrooms!! All lines for beer/concessions make it 100% impossible to make the above mentioned hike! I paid big money and I expect big service whether I smoke or not!!! I will NEVER go to a venue here again!!

I dont know what more I could say about CoRUPPt Arena that has not already been written..The building is rather plain and sterile on the outside, but its what is happening on the inside that matters..From concerts to ball games I ave always had a good view from my seat. No beer during ncaa events but that is not a deal breaker for me as there are many good restaurants/bars and shops within walking distance to spend time at before or after the event.

I adore going to Rupp, especially for UK basketball games. However, if you have to sit upper level, it is so incredibly uncomfortable that your entire body will hurt by the time the game or whatever event is over. I personally will not sit in the upper level seating ever again. I strongly advise to try to get lower level seating, simply because you will have a very comfortable seat. Trust me, it is worth the extra money you may have to pay.

The newly remodeled Rupp Arena is quite impressive! From the numerous shops outside the Arena to the huge new screens above the basketball court, everyone can be entertained! I especially like the layout of the seats in Rupp- even the nosebleeds offer a good view. Many parents can even take their kids to the game, so they can learn how to be Kentucky fans too :) Well done to those who worked on Rupp Arena! And GO WILDCATS!

Most uncomfortable arena I have ever been in. Saw the Eagles last summer and had to leave it must have been 100 degrees in there and we were packed in like sardines. If you have to attend an event my advice is pay extra a get good lower level seats. the hard benches are killer and unless your weight is 95 pounds you will have no room to move or breath. The place needs a major updating and overhaul.

Home to the greatest college basketball team in NCAA basketball, the Kentucky Wildcats. Hosts NCAA Tournament regionals, the Kentucky boys basketball Sweet 16, concerts, and other performers. New upgrades and a massive led scoreboard added with new ribbon board. Concessions are way expensive but thats the price you pay for having the best team to ever grace a basketball court.

Went to see 3Doors Down, Awesome concert, well accommodated, easy in easy out, great shops, Food court, Friendly Helpful Staff, you have but to ask. I was surprised that the full concert was able to flow seemlessly at the close of the show, no hiccups, and contant movement and we were outside making our way for cocktails at a friends request. But that is another review....
