My daughter and her fiance had an appointment to see this venue. When they arrived they were asked what the budget was, so they threw an amount out of $7000-$8000 as a guess. Of course not knowing really the Parents Budget. Immediately they were handed a brochure of another venue that would "better suit their budget" and was told that "this venue was way out of reach". As a parent I am very upset that they were treated this way. But more importantly The Gardens at Great Oaks should have treated them as any other couple for NO OTHER REASON than the expectation of giving CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The budget of $8000 may have been too low for this venue but who knows the couple was not even given a tour or any pricing to compare. This couple should not have been treated that way. NO ONE SHOULD BE.

While working with Joi wasnt always the easiest of tasks, I am so glad that I did. She made sure that every aspect of our wedding was what we wanted. Occasionally, we would have to bring back to what we truly envisioned, but she was never one to shy away from pleasing us. The vendors Every single one of our vendors that she recommended were amazing! We even had a "day of planner" that went above and beyond what we could have ever expected. Our first dance was interrupted by a decent hail storm, but they handled it in such a way that it left very little impact on the rest of the reception. If youre looking for a "Southernesque" wedding venue, this is for you! Just be prepared to have to stick to your guns!!

Really interesting venue with a park like garden and very secluded feel right in Roswell. The house tour is a must. Food is quite good, about average for a wedding venue. Come here for the history and beautiful grounds.
