The building and grounds are lovely, the food court is decent, and the event staff is pretty organized. The family always stops Old Kentucky Chocolates for treats when we visit, which us usually for Scarefest or other conventions. There is one store on the second level that sells convenience items, which is nice in theory, but there is an older lady working there** who has one of the nastiest attitudes Ive ever encountered. Her haughty, snarky comments while ringing out my items still bother me over a year later, which sucks because otherwise my experiences at the Lexington Center have been nothing but pleasant. **It is possible that shes retired or moved on since the time of this interaction, which was late fall of 2016. Ive been back since then, but not to that shop.

Our company holds events in convention centers every single week in multiple cities across the US. I would like to take the time to recognize the team at the Lexington Convention Center. Becky and her staff are absolutely top notch pros. The event comes off like clock work. The event managers and marketing staff were also right on point. They truly partner with us to make the event successful. We work with literally hundreds of venues. The team at the lexington Center is as good as it gets.

Has a lot of potential, it ismore like a corporation, needs more focus on professionals and less focus on college basketball. More opportunity for professional arts and. Business. Has the potential to be a enterprise zone, it could be an International arts , education , and Business Destination . Needs a major Tv like Rt or MSNBC.

I was here for a roller derby event, a triple header. There were no bathrooms easily accessible to the athletes or those working the event.

Very clean facility. It was large and offered great parking. Went on a Saturday for an expo and parking was free.
