Park wasnt bad for its size. But honestly, the staff was the worst part. One of the lead lifeguards/coordinators had a major attitude, and actually yelled at me for walking by a person who was being treated for a bloody nose and we had no idea, the path wasnt blocked off at all or anything. So I was extremely astonished to be yelled at for innocently trying to walk to another pool. Customer service and being kind goes a long way, and its not that difficult to just speak or instruct kindly. I lifeguarded for 2 years and I understand that it can sometimes be difficult when handling people, but you can always be kind. But being yelled at and getting attitude is what ruined the experience for me.

1. Nothing better than being 22 and being helped into a 3 foot lazy river by a 14 yr old I got this bro i can safely touch.. 2. Lifeguards offered to remove super small metal ring on my 80$ swim trunks. Told her no thanks pulled down my pants went down on my underwear. 3. Better not have a nose ring ladies, for the 2 foot slide. Will have to remove. 4. Only one person allowed on the stairs for the slides, dont want all that weight on the reenforced steel might be dangerous. Just out your sprinklers on in your backyard and run through them. You probably will have more fun. Or fill your bath tub up and splash around in that.

Our first time experiencing the Aquatic Park was today and although the admission was a bit highly priced, it is worth it. The baby/child pool was full of activities that normal pools do not have. The lazy river was so relaxing and my two young children didnt want to get off. The lap pool was a bit crowded with teens in a few sections but all in all a great experience. If you like adrenaline rushes go down the huge slides! We didnt have any issues with the lifeguards, must have been a good day because they were all great. Only thing Id suggest is to make the hours longer. My family will absolutely be coming back.

This has cool things for every age to enjoy. However, fun times are quickly dissolved by an unwelcoming atmosphere and laundry list of rules that would make the federal government scoff at. Expect to rip out holes in your swimsuit if any amount of metal is present, provide proof that your shirt has no cotton present (no cotton allowed here- it is a drowning hazard, even if are 6 5" and in less than a foot of water), and leave at exactly 7:00pm because the staff will hover over you so they can tear out of the parking lot ahead of you. Have fun but their might be fine print that doesnt allow it.

If I could give them a zero I would. My child who can compete in swimming was told he had to wear a life jacket in the lazy river, he was not allowed to do anything after we were there for and hour. There lifeguards are not all consistent and totally ruin any fun my child could do. Then my other son who went down the slides several times was not allowed to all of a sudden because of the small piece of metal was at where you tie the pants. It would have never touched their slide. Management is also horrible, does not know how to handle customer complaints.

Fun place to go but need more for adults to do, only so much times you can go on a last river or the few slides before it gets boring, and the lifeguards arent too nice when talking to you about the rules especially the stupid no metal buttons on the slide, when most male swim trunks have metal pieces and its either u dnt go on the slide or rip the pieces off ur trunks with no reimbursal for breaking, tearing, ripping, or destroying perfectly good swim trunks... That rule need to be changed

The "rules" at Rock River Rules should apply to everyone. I was there today and they were so discriminating. They say no cotton clothing but clearly dont enforce it and allow nasty diapers in the pool. I dont get it. No basketballs, they say theyve all been stolen. And the staff especially the "management " are the rudest most arrogant people ever! Its called customer service but all they offer are attitudes and harassment. Costs twice as much as it used to but no new rides. Total joke.

Worst experience at a "water park" (if you even wanna call it a water park, its basically the same as most YMCAs) ever. But if you wanna go have a ton of 12 year olds tell you what to do all day adn listen to terrible music blasted so loud that you cannot hear the person next to you then go ahead. Just make sure you wear a non cotton shirt or you will have to wear one of their crappy 3 sizes to small shirts with RRR" written in marker across the front. Dont do it...

The whole place is just amazing and the people there are really wanting to help you because they are totally involved in making sure everyone is safe and making sure youre safe and keeping us safe around everyone the park was very clean it was very maintained it was very safe and had lots of precautions in it and even the young teenagers or the young people that work there all act very professional I love going there and I will always go back

We are from out of town, but had a great experience. Took our kids and grandkids. They all had fun. It seems safety is of their greatest concern. They have a lot of staff. And while the rules seem to be a little excessive in some areas, the young staff were very professional and courteous. The too many negative posts regarding rudeness was not warranted. All worked hard at being polite while enforcing the park rules.

This is an AWESOME place I am 12 and I had the best trine ever!! There are a ton of things to do the only problem I had was that when me and my friends were messing around( away from people so that we werent being rude) the lifeguards got really mad at us. But As long as you follow the saftey rules especially the " no running" rule then you should have a good time!

I will never visit here again. Within 40 minutes, we had been yelled at for not knowing their draconian rules over 5 times. My 5 year old left in tears not understanding why she was wrong for trying to swim and have fun. Really, cheap kids googles will hurt your rock wall. Give me a break. So much for encouraging a child to be confident in the water...

We read the rules before coming here today. I guess knowing what was expected of us & insuring that we all followed the rules helped us have a fantastic day. Not a single complaint was heard out of my group. Every single employee that we talked to or interacted with was polite & helpful. We are already planning our next trip back!

The place is fun, but some of the senior life guards are on power trips. I was teaching my daughters how to swim in the lap area yesterday and some lady came at us yelling about not doing laps. Like anyone really goes there for laps anyway. Get off the power trips and maybe get a better rating.
