Sat down at the bar for dinner and the bartender took my drink order and asked if I planned on eating. Placed my order for a drink (which I did receive) and said I still needed to decide what I wanted for food. Sat there for 20 minutes and was never ask again what I needed anything else. Left without eating.

We ate there for a Sunday Brunch Buffet and being such a nice place you would expect a nice selection. There was a salad, a basket of rolls and a few hot food items. If you are looking for a selection, this is not the place to go for Sunday Buffet.

Dont always judge a restaurant by its attire. This hotel restaurant may be incredibly outdated and have carpet, but the food is very very good. Buffalo chicken pasta was incredible and as my first meal in Pella, IA, it set the bar very high.

My organization went there for our Christmas Party/Dinner. The restaurant was not over crowded, however, it took just over 1 hour and 45 minutes for the food to be served. Well never make that mistake again.

First time coming to Monarch for lunch and the food was good, but the service was very poor. We came in on Thursday July 6th at 1:15pm.
