I was very skeptical about going there after reading all of the negative reviews but I wanted to see Lindsey Sterling and didnt have any other options. I must say I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. The show was supposed to start at 7:30 with the doors opening at 6:30 so we decided to arrive at 5:30 hoping to get a good place in line. I was surprised that there already was a substantial line there and we got into our place with about 200 people n front of us. Over the next hour the number of people approximately doubled and when the doors opened everyone went in, in an orderly fashion and were pat searched going in. Security was very friendly and I had no issues with them. The main floor filled to about 1/3 capacity and then slowed to a small but steady stream thereafter. By the time the show started the main floor was full but not severely crowed. I was off to the side and stayed off the main floor and had a great experience seeing the show. I later asked my niece and nephew what their experience was like being about 15 feet back from the stage on the main floor. My nephew was of decent height (around 70") and said he could see everything fine. My Niece being a little shorter (around 66") said she had an ok view about half the time as there was a taller man in front of her. There were also quite a few parents there with young children (since it was an all ages show) but i cant imagine it was worthwhile for the children being so short and standing on the min floor. I would recommend if you are short go to the sides or go upstairs for a better experience. The sound quality wasnt bad. It was a little ear splitting loud at first but after the first couple songs they tweaked it down a little to be more tolerable (or maybe I got used to it). They allowed camera phones recording the show but I think that was at the artists discretion so call ahead first to find out how strict they are going to be if you want to do that. I did also ask security about drinks in the bathroom and kicking people out. They explained it was a policy they had to help ensure against minors getting alcohol from someone else, something they are dead serious on trying to prevent. Also note, the pat search was to also make sure no one was bringing in weapons and they also considered over sized key carabiners to be like brass knuckles so leave them in the car. Finally when the concert was over the staff worked hard at directing traffic out of the parking lot to help wit congestion and keep people leaving in an orderly fashion. I will definitely go back there again.

I have been to several events at the myth now the first time I thought it sucked it was my own fault though, we arrived after 2 opening acts to see ffdp and it was way oversold the only place anywhere to stand was up stairs and even the was crammed so tight I never saw one second of the actual band because people were so close you could not see anything but the person in front of you. The next couple events were ok we got there 2 plus hours early once in the middle of a cold cold blizzard to see BUSH and sat as one oF the first few in line freezing. Then 10 minutes before doors open staff brings people from the back who had just gotten there to other doors to start new lines totally b.s when we suffered for our place. Well on 8-16-2016 I had bought tickets from a resale site since the myths site said sold out so I paid a lot. It was my boyfriends favorite band the deftones and we were pretty close on the floor. Well 3 songs in I was being tossed around like a rag doll by moshers I tried to move back when my foot was stomped on by a really large guy I wanted off the floor my bf helped me get through then I said Id be fine back there but he needed to go down and enjoy his band my foot really hurt when I saw a vacant spot to sit by the wall upstairs u sat only to be scolded quite rudely and loudly by security that he had said nobody can sit there he needed to clean up water that was on floor he acted like he had already told me this and was losing his patience so once again i am standing and an idiot trips, spilling an entire drink on me by now I am pretty frustrated so I want to go to the car to see if I cant get my foot feeling better I told my bf to stay and enjoy his band he wanted to make sure I was alright and unknowingly to me followed me out then when I was in car went back only to be refused re entry what complete bs we saw no obvious signs stating this policy and there were at least 5 security people monitoring the doors not one said a thing I will never go here again first of all tickets were still available that night so the fact I had to overpay is crap and we only saw 3 songs and were not allowed back in what a corrupt venue.

We saw Dropkick Muphys here. The band was awesome, but the experience was totally ruined by the Myth. First of all, parking is crappy and confusing. Theres a mall parking lot but only certain spots can be used by Myth Patrons. Getting in took forever. Either they didnt hire enough staff, or there are too few doors. Inside is the ABSOLUTE WORST setup for a concert like this. The standing room dance floor is surrounded by an elevated concourse with bar stations on the outside wall. There are only three walkways from the dance floor to the concourse. There are some tables and booths down on the dance floor towards the back. The Stage is elevated about four feet. There are some VIP balconies up above. From what I gather, only about 10% of patrons would have a good sight line to the band. That would be people standing on the edge of the outside concourse railing, at the VIP railing, or tall people on the dance floor. Everyone else is staring at the back of someones head. The stage isnt elevated enough or configured in such a way to increase visibility to the crowd. They let WAY TOO MANY people in. we were totally packed like sardines. People were constantly jostling you, even if you were all the way in the back. Getting drinks took 5 minutes minimum. Forget about going to what seemed to be the only restroom in the place. There arent enough bouncers to do their jobs. They allowed people in the crowed to forcefully shove people around while trying to push their way from one place to another. They seemed only concerned with booting out crowd-surfers and protecting the stage. Who cares about crowd-surfing when your wife is being knocked off her feet by some uncouth animal. I would never consider giving this place another cent of my money. Honestly I think the situation that night must have been against fire code.

Horrible, just horrible. There was absolutely no crowd control outside of the venue, so everyone mobbed to the doors and barricades were toppled over with people being totally crushed. I have never been to a venue where there hasnt been security directing people before entering the building. Despite the show I went to not being sold out, everyone was packed in so tightly that my friend and I left our prime spots because we could not breathe at all. When I approached a security guy and told him that there were people experiencing panic attacks who needed help up front, he loudly brushed me off and said they had a man up there already (which was not true, I had just left the third row and there was no staff in sight.) In fact during the show, they had multiple security guards blocking off the entrance to their VIP balcony and only one guy passing out cups of water for people to share and pulling people out by the barricade. Ive been to many general admission shows and never have I seen someone being pulled out whereas here there were at least 20 people that fainted and another 20 who had to be pulled out because they were not doing well. Im honestly so disappointed in Myth, not only does the location absolutely suck, but their general apathy and lack of management to keep people safe was just appalling. If youre a manager looking to book a band for this venue, please dont. First Avenue, The Varsity, Skyway, Roy Wilkins, or State Theatre would be a much better choice. In fact, anywhere would be better than Myth.
