I came up to one of the cashiers after I had noticed my pretzel bite soaked in butter, telling her that there must be something wrong. I have ordered these before & never had they ever been this way. The cashier kindly said that they had recently changed the recipe & now add butter to the pretzels after they are done. I said that I possibly could not eat them they where all covered in butter so bad like they would slip out of my fingers pure butter all over you could even see the butter all over the side & dripping down on the cantainer soo soo gross. She offered to make me new ones & not add the butter after & I agreed. As I was standing waiting for my pretzels the other girl was extremely not happy she had to re-make them again. Giving attitude talking to other employees as I stood there looking. This to me was completely disrespectful & unprofessional. I am not one to complain about things but this was just such a horrible experience. Handed my pretzels & no apology, she was just rude handing me my pretzels. The food is extremely priced & I dont mind but I rather save my hard earned money next time & stay home then to deal with this kind of attitude again. I asked one of the other workers to see If I could possibly get a name she said it might be Sammy, I rrally hope shes not a supervisor or manager because if soo ohhh myy how unprofessional of her

My husband and I went to the movies today and had a very disrupted showing. There was a group of six young teens who sat down. At first they were in the front of the theater but they were kicked out for not having tickets for the showing. Shortly after the movie started this same group of kids came in and sat down across the aisle from us. All through the first half of the showing they were up and down and arguing with each other. After having asked them to stop multiple times,I finally went and talked to the manager and explained the issue. She came back in and talked to the kids. After talking to them she said they claimed we were staring at them. Of course we kept looking at them! They were being disruptive!! At least they were quiet but they ruined the first two thirds of the movie and the manager didnt seem to care after the kids had said we kept looking at them. This is why we dont go to Showplace 16 very often. I would not recommend it.

This is an excellent theater. The quality of the picture and of the sound is always top notch. All the theater screens are huge the same size as the IMAX. The seating is comfortable at the armrest go up so you can cuddle with that special someone. Yes the theater does seem pricey compared to other theaters. What you get for that price is far more than you get with the less expensive places. Every penny is worth it. I will go nowhere else. Also if youre a frequent movie goer get the AMC Stubs rewards card. Its 12 dollars a year and for every $100 you spend at the theater in tickets or concessions you get $10 that you can use on the spot or say to your next visit. Also if you order your tickets online any additional fees are waived for AMC Stubs members. I almost forgot you also get free upgrades on your pop and popcorn with the AMC Stubs card. Buy a small they give you a medium, by media they give you a large.

I go to the movies about 15 times a year. I love this movie theater!! Its clean. They are nice and friendly. Free refills on Large drinks and popcorn, other local theaters charge $1 or $2 for refills. If you go to the movies more than 4 times a year, get the AMC Stub card. Youll get a large pop and popcorn for medium price and still get the free refills. Plus, after you see a couple movies, they tell you that you have a $10 credit to use on your card and you can use it right then for credit on that movie or popcorn. The seating is true theater seating with large theaters. The arm rests lift up so you can snuggle close if you want. We all think theaters are overpriced...But, we are paying for a night out of entertainment and the experience we all want at the movies. Everything costs more than we think it should these days. This theater will be the great experience your looking for. Its my favorite theater.

AMC Showplace 16 in Rockford does not have enough circulation in the lobby. The lobby was quite smokey and stuffy from popcorn popping and carried into the theater. I do have asthma and some breathing problems. I asked a manager if they could turn the air on in the theater or fans. They did and I was able to stay and watch the movie which I appreciated. This has happened at Showplace 14 theater also. Maybe there isnt enough ventilation when popping corn and cooking food as they do now. Seemed like the humidity was high in the theater. Classic Cinema at Lindo theater in Freeport, Illinois does not have this problem. I love going to the movies and dont want to worry if I can stay when I get there.

I love going to showplace 16, like whenever there is a huge movie coming out in IMAX 3D I always go there. Though like Showplace 14 the food/ candy is to expensive. Better off going and buying candy at a dollar store. Though one thing this theater needs is better popcorn. Not sure what they put in there or dont but I cant have it because it makes me nauseous and ended up missing half of the movie because I was in the bathroom pukin. It takes away from the whole movie experience. Whenever I go to showplace 14 and have popcorn, I never get sick. Must be something they put on the popcorn. Other than that I love going there.

Rockford AMC is a good movie theater if you like to see good movies got here ,but they are alittle Pricey on the Sweet treat side of the movie theaters so if you want to get something i would eat before or wait till after the movie to eat. But on the up side of things the screens are big ,and huge so you wont miss anything. Sound is high grade ,and even the seats are comfy enough to relax in. So if you like movies go here but try to frame from buying snacks from the front your better off going to taco bell before the movie like i do cause of their prices. So over all i give it a 10/20.

I went to see a rated R horror film here recently. They were supposed to check IDs of those purchasing tickets to this film and they failed to do so. I think local kids take advantage of this as there were a ridiculous amount of children under the age of 17 who Im sure were not accompanied by an adult. I noticed some kids entering the theater who couldnt have been older than 10. Children were running around the theater and causing a lot of racket. At times you couldnt even hear the dialogue. It really hurt my experience.

Do I enjoy paying $10 a ticket for a regular movie? NO. Do I take advantage of the $5 dollar weekday movies, NO, I have to work, I sure am not going to keep my 6 year old out late on a school night to see a movie. Do I like paying $7.50 for NACHOS, NO. Do I like the fact they changed their products to some nasty brand? NO. Do I like the fact I have to get a LARGE in order to get ONE free refill on pop AND popcorn? NO. Do Rockford a favor and take your AMC the hell back where you came from.
