My wife and I went to the Pepperwood restaurant inside the casino. I ordered a burger with bacon and she ordered a BLT. Mine was supposed to have real Angus beef but it was overcooked and dry. The bacon on both of our sandwiches was cold. Very disappointing. The only good part were the onion rings. The sodas were free but nobody has checked the calibration of the soda machine and my Mountain Dew didnt taste right, nor did my wifes Dr. Pepper. Our poor waitress was a young woman who had no training with regards to customer service. It doesnt matter as it appears that no one ever stays employed very long. We rarely see the same face twice. The Casino itself seemed like an olds folks home and Im 57 years old. Seniors mindlessly playing slots. I watch them continuously pushing the button and watching the wheels turn. Hour after hour, winning neither produces happiness or sadness. I wonder what they think about as they smoke their cigarettes and watch the wheels turn. Are there lives so empty and devoid of companionship or are they somehow hypnotized by the slot machines. Franklin Gibbs from the Twilight Zone was hooked and maybe these seniors should re-watch the old Twilight Zone episode and see how they look. Mindless drones wasting their money. All I can say is good luck.

This casino was one of my favorites until they took most of the games from one room and smooshed them all into one room. They left the " entryway " room as a bingo room or an events room. They need a separate entrance for the slots and gaming room....its a bit weird and off- putting walking in and a bingo game is going on...maybe the should partition that room off. Anyways...since they smooshed everything into one room- the players club is in a weird spot. When there are special promotions people are so lined up at the cashiers window that you cant get to the players club, and its difficult to get thru again to leave the casino. Its quite overwhelming with 100s of people in such a tiny room. The restaurant also shares this little space...ugh! The plus is- the parking lot is pretty big...and if youre lucky- you could get a shady spot. I love their statues out front. Theres also a little convenience store here. Theres only a couple ways to get here...be careful driving from Lakeport - "Hopland Grade" is for good drivers that arent afraid of driving thru mountains...lots of scenery on the drive!

I saw nothing wrong with this casino employees were friendly ,the casino is very clean food was good (lunch) What was missing for me was all the buses and patrons like it used to be 15 years ago ,but all in all nice place to visit and enjoy the day...I must reply to Brad that made his comments toward seniors what would you have them do ? sit at home staring out a window or going to a movie ,going out to lunch with friends or playing bingo at a senior center or going to a casino and playing the penny machines ,wait until you reach the age of 87-90 lets see what you will be doing .....pennys Brad? a Senior ...

If you are looking for good food.., this is not the place for you. If you want dry and soggy food then your in the right place. You want to define tight that is how the slots are here. If your luckily enough to get a game you might win 10.00...also dont go to the buffet with a group they wanted a 26.00 tip... That was not going to happen...they had a whole 6 people in the restaurant. Smiles must of been an option from the time you walkin and get greeted by sour puss... It basically stays the same theme throughout the restaurant and casino.

Overnighted in our RV. Quiet. John. Security. Great person to talk to about traveling up north. Must sign waiver with security to overnight. Basically saying they are not responsible for anything. Free play $25 per person. Good pay outs on slots. High limits. Propane refill $2.99 per gal. Decent price. Convenient. Great for self sustaining RVers to overnight. Small casino. Old. And a bit smelly. But, again, good odds. Small market to the right. Convenience store. Great staff!!!

Slots are more playable then other Northern California casinos. Restaurant food are not too bad, rated "C". Riverrock and Graton casino eateries are pretty bad, rated "D" minus. Only thing is it takes one hour drive from South end of Santa Rosa.

The restaurant: they took forever to get our food (over 40 minutes for garlic fries!!?, 30-35 minutes for a cheese burger). The food was marginal, the menu selection was very limited. ....Two thumbs down....

They PAYOFF and its not just every now and then, 85 pct of the time I walk out 300 ahead! Just today I got BACK TO BACK PROGRESSIVES AT 500 BUCKS......EACH!! Happy days and it was won on free play 10 buckz

They have slots and free soft drinks. You want anything more, go to Vegas. The staff is nice and the atmosphere is laid back.
