I went to see War for the Planet of the Apes on a Monday evening in the XD theater with my wife and two friends. There was a couple sitting behind us with two very young children who talked loudly, cried, yelled, and kicked the back of our seats throughout the entire film. I left the theater an hour into the film and spoke to one of the attendants about the disturbance, and he assured me that he would inform a manager and that it would be taken care of. A few minutes later a manager walked into the theater, stood there for about a minute, and then left without doing anything. After the movie ended I spoke to the manager, and he told me that he did not hear or see any disturbance. He clearly did not make much of an effort, or was too intimidated to confront the family. So our movie experience was largely ruined by the incessant noise that these young children were making. The manager gave us free passes, but that doesnt make up for the fact that he failed to intervene when he should have. The managers need more courage and gumption.

Worst experience ever!!! My friends and I bought 10 tickets to go see IT the movie my mom came in and paid for herself and my friends and I payed for ourselves. Soon after we went to get food at the concessions stand and went to the stand to get inside but we were stopped by the ride management and told we needed to be accompanied by an adult. I texted my mom to come in with us and we were stopped by the rude management that told us we needed parents for everyone that came. But they didnt tell us that when we brought the ticket and in fact Matt (with the big gut) told us we could slide. The problem was partially resolved with refunds for every purchase we made in the store. We experienced discrimination because they told us that we did were not MY moms kids which is very rude! I think that Matt should be fired because he was disobeying his companies rules and we should have been credited with something for suck an inconvenience! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!

I bought 2 tickets for the 11:30 pm showing of Avengers: Age of Ultron on April 30th. I arrived at theater at 11:00 pm specifically so that I would have good seats for the movie. At around 11:45, after the series of commercials and reminders to turn off our cellphones, the lights in the hall turn on. After dimming and replaying the same commercial three times, the manager finally came into the theater to say that the projector was having issues and she was unsure of when the problem would be solved. Firstly, the projector didnt seem to be having any trouble playing 45 minutes of trailers and commercials. Secondly, I find it unacceptable that no one bothered to come in and explain the problem until midnight, half an hour after the movie was meant to start. When I go to the theater, I expect to be able to watch the movie at the time that I paid for. This was an absolutely horrible experience.

This is my favorite theater in the area. The quality of sound and visuals is good, Ive never experienced a problem. They have discount options, like student and senior, and the prices are attractive. The best part of the theater is the special events, like showings of concerts, classic movies with extra information or interviews, even events like video game competitions. The theater also shows all recent big Hollywood movies as well. There is a family bathroom, and parking validation for the indoor parking right across. The only complaint would be the poor selection of food in the concession area. But since I dont go to a theater to eat, I think the place deserves five stars for its movie services. There is a variety of restaurants around it, so if youre really hungry you can get great food and still see the movie!

There is free parking, on weekends, across the street (large parking lot) and down the street from this movie theater. Otherwise, we would not come to this movie theater as parking on the street is atrocious! It is clean. The employees are friendly and a reasonable matinee price-point. There are tons of restaurants within walking distance to the movie theater which we always appreciate. We also like that some of the movies here are unique in that they are NOT playing at every theater. Over the years, we have seen some excellent "limited" release movies and/or foreign films. When you enter, you take the Escalator to the left, up to the movie theater. Upstairs you purchase your tickets and snacks. Really a very nice, clean theater.

Little surprised there arent more theaters around, but this one is a nice place, so why try to compete? Can purchase tickets often through Fandango, they have self-service kiosks to quickly get in, and its a clean establishment. FYI, if you buy your tickets on Fandango, they say something along the lines of "bring directly to ticket taker". That person still has to print out your tickets, so you can stop at the self-service kiosk, print the actual movie theater tickets from by scanning your device/paper, then head to the ticket taker. During busy times, doing this can prevent a line to get from concessions to the theaters.

Fantastic in every way. Clean, huge, comfortable, affordable and validated parking. Probably the best theater Ive been to in all Chicago. The only thing in its way is the decision to install a taller instead of wider screen. It was probably a budget decision because you can have more rooms with taller screens than with wider screens but it just reminds me too much of a 3:4 analog box tv with black bars at the top and bottom for 19:9 movies. That is based on only one room I was in though when I went to watch The Revenant. I am hoping not all the screens are like that though.... other than that great movie watching experience.

Nice, clean theaters, ample amenities and, most importantly, the seating and picture/sound quality are fantastic. My wife and i went here a couple times in the last month, and our experience was top notch. As an added benefit, there is a huge parking garage across the street. If you validate your ticket in the theater lobby, then parking is completely free of charge. How awesome is that? And last but not least, they have tickets for just $5.75 on Tuesdays. You cant beat that!

Ive been coming here for about 8 years now, and the selection of movies is really great. Movies show here that dont show in other cities, or even at the bigger theaters in Chicago. Staff is friendly, and Tuesday nights are discount night, at $6.25 for all non-premium shows on Tuesdays (as of the writing of this review). Matinee shows are another way to spend less money here. Seats are pretty comfy, most rows alternate between reclining seats and arm rests that go up.

Easily the best theater in the Chicago area. My wife and I started going there last year after moving to Evanston from the city and we were blown away. Great prices, great selection of films, great seats, great concessions, and free parking on Sundays... it just cant be beat. We moved back to Chicago about a month ago, but are committed to making the drive back up there any time we want to see a movie, which we are doing this afternoon. Well worth the short drive!

Ive been to movie theaters around the country, big, small special features such a drink service and dinner at the table. This place is hands down the best. Location, price, selection, hours, staff and cleanliness this is a number 1. I didnt want to review them because I love that its not crazy crowded during the week when I like to go to the movies. Great restaurants and shopping in the area. A gem!
