First let me say the Manager took care of each problem with the utmost respect to me and my children, which these days is very RARE. Thats the only reason it got 3 stars As far as our experience: We went to see Dolphin Tale 2. Our Movie started on time and was absolutely AWESOME! No sticky floors and the bathrooms sparkled they were so clean. The PROBLEMS: 1) We could hear every sound effect and song from the movie next to us "The Maze Runner". How anyone seeing that movie came out not being deaf is beyond me. 2) Where we sat down first: one of the armrests had a screw sticking up and we scratched our arms, so we moved seats. Armrests are padded: this one was not. 3) On the way out we wanted refills to take with us(paid the way too high cost for the Large drinks just so we could get refills) The girl at the concession counter told us they were closed and we could not get the refills we paid for. I understand its Sunday and we went to the 7pm show but there were movies that didnt start til 8pm and they were still playing. What about all those customers who were still in the middle of their movies????? Check the times on the door the place doesnt close on Sundays til 10pm..... So,I went straight to the managers office, knocked on the door and explained all our problems.( The girl at the counter didnt think I would know exactly where to find the manager! Pays to be a mystery shopper sometimes!) Within 5 minutes we had new drinks, work orders written to fix the armrest, and a pissed off concession worker because the manager stood over her to make sure she fixed our drinks and didnt spit in them. We also received tickets to come back to see our movie again hopefully to have a better experience on our next visit. All in all everything was handled and we will give them another try. If we have a worse experience next visit, you can bet Ill post it here!

It is Fandango friendly... or rather, is supposed to be. First off, the tickets that we printed off of Fandango said our movie started at 9:00 p.m. We arrived at 8:45. We ordered drinks and popcorn and by the time we were ready to enter the cinema area, it was 8:55. Our printed Fandango sheet wouldnt scan. The guy had to go back to the ticket booth. It took him a few minutes. He tells us which screen is ours and to our dismay, the cinema time over the doors said that the movie started at 8:40. 8:40???!!! I told him that this was not right. I showed him the fandango ticket and he said, "Oh its okay, it hasnt started yet." Huh??? It was in the middle of showing trailers, which would be okay for some people. Not for us. We happen to enjoy watching the trailers. Upset, I contacted Fandango about the problem and their response was that the theater is responsible for keeping the times updated. All I can say is that you had better be sure what the real times are before you Fandango anything with that theater. As for the employees themselves, they were all courteous and tried to please us. Thats why the theater gets 3 stars because if the employees had been flippant, it would have gotten a zero. Especially after the whole time fiasco.

This place tries so hard. My first experience here was for a TCM special presentation of Smoky and the Bandit, and the video didnt work for first five minutes of the movie. The employee came to the auditorium and announced that they couldnt rewind it because of inclement weather, but they did offer free passes for disgruntled people. My second experience here was for a TCM special presentation of The Godfather, but they said the movie wasnt fully downloaded yet and it would not be ready for my 2PM showtime. It would be ready for the 7PM showtime, but I had driven from Pensacola, and I wasnt going to wait for five hours in Mobile to kill time. I got my free passes, and left. My third experience was good. The movie played on time, and the service was really nice. The managers here are very, very accommodating, and I appreciate them. I will say, however, that I am thankful that this theater is the only theater near the Pensacola area that participates in a lot of these TCM special presentations. That is a huge plus. I have to come here a couple more times before I head home to Orlando, so maybe this place will become more consistent. Hopefully.

The Projection room light are on because there is someone working up there, and yes the wattage is boosted in a 3D movie so you are able to see the detail through tinted glasses. Sorry about the restroom. They are checked and cleaned every 30 minutes, but some customers are dirty and dont care to take care of others property. As far as the price, thats inflation. It will only get worse. I swear , some of these same posts are on the Carmike review. looks as if someone is just pasting the same thing to trash the competition. To the guy who is complaining about the trailers, you are als complaining about price. Make up your mind. If the trailers didnt play those ticket would be around $20 a piece and thats being nice. I see mold smell complaints on all the Theater reviews. This is most likly because the area is so close tot he bay. What do you expect. Here is an idea. Instead of going to a movie and looking for things to complain about, try enjoying yourself for a change. Im not connected to any of these companies, but these complains are rediculase. Some just proove alot of you are just after something for free.

Honestly would give this place no stars if I could. Went to see Split last night and had a horrible experience for multiple reasons. The whole place is dirty and smelled as soon as you walk through the door. The lighting and sound for the movie was awful. I know you cant control the people who you are surrounded by but majority of them were incredibly rude by talking or being on their phones. Along with a child (how he was allowed in a rated R film by the staff is an issue in itself) who constantly ran up and down the stairs. Someone went and brought it up to the staff and they had a security guard stand and watch. Who mostly kept looking at his own cell phone. Not paying attention to the two people next to him taking photos and playing on their phones. Will never be coming to this theatre again, would rather drive an hour to Daphne or Spanish Fort. I dont see this theatre lasting very long. No one there really seems to care about the business or customer service.

Poorly maintained, poorly managed, and the staff wasnt exactly interested in actually working. I went to see a 3D showing of Batman vs Superman there and they scheduled it in an auditorium that was not equipped for 3D projection. ... Which did not stop them from showing the 3D print. After starting it 20 minutes late (after we complained), it was unwatchable. It took almost another 45 minutes to gain the attention of a member of the staff and force them to comprehend the problem. The final solution was to move us (and the print) to a theater that was actually capable of showing it, bumping the feature that was scheduled out. (Fortunately it was a weekday matinee, and nobody showed up for that one.) I did get to see it... beginning to end. But it was a mess to accomplish.
