Took my parents and my sister and her friend to bowl. Went to the smoky bar much so you need a gas mask. Tried to order drinks. Only one barmen making drinks. Watched him as I waited. In his rush his drinks were sloppy and the shots were not measured and his pours were short. ( Ive had two restaurants. I know) gave up waiting and went back cause it was my turn. Tried a second time to order drinks through the lady serving our lanes. The gin and tonic for me was weak and had no lime even when I had verbally specified the lime. They didnt know what a cider was. And my sisters friends vodka cran tasted only of cranberry juice. I thought to leave it alone with my drink but that my guest had complained of his. I took a sip of his after he had taken two to confirm his complaint. Took the drink back to the server told her it was weak and about my observation of the barman previous. She rolled her eyes in frustration not at me but at the complaint stating she "gets that complaint a lot". Asked if she could have him remake it using a lip for a proper shot. 20 minutes later as we are finishing up our last game about to leave still no drink. Went and found her asked if she could just take it off the bill. She would have to get the manager to do it. Comes back saying the manager on duty of not just the bar but the whole facility wont do it. I asked to speak with him. I explain the whole story as stated above. His response unsympathetic and stone faced, "we dont take drinks off tabs". Along with many other excuses "if I had watched him pour it I could have asked for a proper pour but as I didnt see it..." "cannot be taken off once its brought to the table". All ridiculous "policies" Ive never known any establishment to have and Ive been in food and beverage for 17 years. My final question to him was "so youre willing to get a bad review over one drink?" To which he replied "yes". Thank you Manager Jacob G. I hope your superiors read this and correct your thinking on "policy" at the sacrifice of business. The server was very apologetic to the whole situation. Knowing it wasnt her fault and out of her hands I still gave her a good tip.

Super rude customer service! :( So surprised and disappointed!!! I called Stars & Strikes, in Loganville, on my sons birthday on 12/26/16. The nice young man who answered the phone was very polite and said, "yes, its okay to bring cupcakes and balloons". I made sure I told the young man that I did not have a "birthday party" reservation. I was just simply showing up with cupcakes and balloons. He said, "yes, thats fine. Its not a problem". I made sure to call because some businesses do not allow outside food / decorations. I had family in town for the holidays and decided that bowling would be better than being cooped up inside the house. So, the total party was 22 people. As soon as I walk in all excited with the balloons, my husband tells me, "no cupcakes allowed". I was like, "no, its okay. I called and checked already". He then says, "no, the manager said no cupcakes". I walk over nicely and said, "hey, I called and was told it was okay". The manager says, "That employee gave you the wrong information. No cupcakes allowed". W T H? I had no choice but to leave. I called the next closest bowling alley (in Lilburn) and they said yes to the cupcakes and balloons. Its an older bowling alley, but they were so friendly and accommodating. Also more affordable. So, Stars & Strikes is pretty location, but awful service. Id rather go to the an older location and really get my monies worth. Im not even a person who leaves reviews, but this really bothered me and my family. Imagine having to plan a last minute location and hope they had enough room for you and your family? Never Again. Also, who looses the business of 22 people $$$ versus $15 cupcakes? Wow.

Lets see here, i asked the cashier for 2 games per person and we had 2, he rang it up at 2 games total. so I paid 14.55 for it, which didnt make much sense to me. Anyways, the screen would not work. when we got to the registration point to type in the names of myself, it blacked out and crashed. So I went up to the 10 people long line customer with the single cashier, he asked how many games, I showed him the reciepe and he said, oh you just finished. I then told him, calvin, that I havent been able to play, still tried to charge me a second time. He fixed it the first time, and then, during frame 5 the screen flickered off again, and frame 5 was stuck there with the pins blacked out. After which time I waited in line again and told him that if this happened again Im asking for a refund. At which time, it happened AGAIN after the 2nd person went, and it closed yet again. So after that happened, I went over to the person behind the counter to the other side where the gifts were. told an amazing lady who understood more than the dude and fixed it all for me. except for the fact that calvin cant do math and 2+2 =4 games total. so I only got to play 1 game per person all because of this reason. I am furious at this moment and dropped my shoes and left. I assume calvin is the manager, but shame on him for not being able to do math.

This was a nice place over the years. Friday night I had the worst experience in this location. The service was not only poor but not favorable to African Americans. We bowled until closing and as we were changing shoes to return them to the counter we were approached by a police officer who asked us to leave in a very hostile tone with his hand on his gun. He did not ask anyone else to leave and walked from lane one all the way down to lane 25 to ask us specifically to exit the building. At this time we were the only African Americans in the alley and it was just the two of us in comparison to the 40 other people still there. With all of the commotion going on in the media we thought it best we just leave. It wasnt worth the potential risk of losing our lives. We have bowled here many times before and had a great time but things are apparently different.

My son and I went for the first time a couple sundays ago, we had a great time and to our surprise it was 99c per game special that night so it was super affordable. We had so much fun we decided to go back tonight and unfortunately for us it was league night so we couldnt bowl however the manager on duty offered us a 5$ Game card for the arcade for filling out a short comment card/survey. I was so impressed with not only how great and friendly the manager on duty was but the young man chandler who was working in the arcade. I will certainly be taking my son back more often. Thanks to the service we got from Chandler and Manager whos name I have forgotten!
