Whenever my family and I can budget in a movie, this is the place we always go to. Their customer service is great and a plus for us is that they actually have clean restrooms for our little ones. Ticket prices are reasonable, but I dont have to tell anyone about the concessions, its how they make their money. Totally understandable. The best thing about the Carmike of Cartersville is their customer service and willingness to help in their community. For the past couple of years, our church has hosted a FREE Family Movie Night where we would watch a movie together, refreshments and everyone would have a great time. We could always rely on Carmike to provide us with a HUGE bag of popcorn for us (for a minor fee). Who doesnt like movie popcorn? Cmon, its tasty, dont deny it. I wanted to thank them for the great atmosphere there at the Carmike of Cartersville and for all that they do in their community.

Since AMC has taken over, they have implemented an express line for gold members. I figured it out easy enough, but it blew my mind watching the cashier argue with the two separate customers (one inline when I got there and one walking in as I paid) for being in the wrong line when we were the only two or three other people in the lobby. The concept that some people will get preferred service over others is just rude in my opinion. NGC is x10 nicer, far more polite / customer centric. Take the extra 20 minutes and drive to Acworth, you will have a much better experience.

Very nice theater! One of my favorite things is the Coca-cola Freestyle machines with free refills! One thing that I dont like however is the amount of ads before the movie. Typically the movie begins around 20 minutes after the listed time. For example, if the movie is listed for 12 Oclock it will usually start at around 12:20. Another great thing about the theater is that if you have to use the restroom during the movie you dont have to walk all the way to the front. There are restrooms in the hallways near the auditoriums. Definitely a great theater!

We were lured into coming to the theater today with their ad about the Independence Day double feature. The ad on the Cartersville Carmike Cinema website clearly states "SEE BOTH MOVIES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE TICKET", however the usher was charging us $15 a piece for the tickets, which is the price for two tickets. The manager (Lauren) was called and her statement was "that is what IT programmed" and was unwilling to think outside the box to honor their advertisement. So we left and are giving this review.

The theater smelled moldy. The popcorn butter tasted like it was unsalted butter, so every other bite just ended up tasting like wet popcorn. The only food options are popcorn and nachos. I was hoping for pizza or hotdogs like other cinemas. I did not like this place. The only good thing I can say is, they have a drink machine where you can get your own soda. When my first choice of soda tasted terrible, I was able to pour it out and select another option.

This is a poor business model that to sale popcorn at high rate and will not give popcorn salt for overpriced popcorn huge crackdown on customer service and lines divided up to show there premium card holders that no one buys for some who pays for a family to see a movie twice a month I will definitely make up the cost of that popcorn salt on the trash a family of four can leave and will be making different investments on family enertianment

After deciding which movie we wanted to see and then driving over 30 miles because of the convenience of the movie time, we were sadly let down.Once we got there the manager informed us the time had changed to a 2 hr later show. She didnt offer any thing for the online mis information which I showed her. I do not recommend this theater if youre trying to plan ahead, per, the manager, "shows can change at any moment " .

Ive lived here for many decades, and this theater use to be trashy. With that being said, many years ago they remodeled the whole thing and upgraded all of the equipment there, which placed it as one of the best theaters in the state of Georgia at that time. I highly recommend this theater for its quality, customer service, and just overall good atmosphere. One of the best theaters Ive been to.

I had an interesting experience with an employee by the name of Ethan today. Im assuming he was on his period, hence the reason for him providing sorry ass customer service. Ill inform corporate all about it in a few minutes if theyre open. If not, Ill inform them Monday. My goal isnt to get him fired, however maybe he needs to be trained again, b/c he learned nothing the first time.

Omg the prices here are the most expensive. 9.00 for a matinee 23.00 for small popcorn two small drinks and m&ms. Goto NCG in acworth free refills on popcorn and drinks and free popcorn flavors. This theatre charges 1.50 for popcorn flavor. Outrageous. I will never waste the time and gas again. I can buy the movie for less than this. If I could give it negative stars I would.

They cancelled the showing that was advertised on the website which ruined my outing. The girl behind the counter kept trying to offer me items that costs twice as much and I had to argue to get her to just sell me what i asked for. I had to settle on another movie and the volume was low and the room was so hot that i was sweating. Terrible experience from start to finish.

Awesome concessions and awesome movie showings. Theaters could be a little bigger but hey, its not a huge town. The show new movies sometimes even at midnight, he minute it premiers! Staff is really nice and considerate. Theaters are clean and there are many of them. It is in great shape. Love going to watch movies here!

Since AMC took over this theatre has gone downhill fast. Weve had showtime changed without notice and God help the person who asks for theatre salt for their popcorn. The manager was curt and then outright rude. Ill take my business and money elseehere. I wish I, too. Could give them a negative rating.

I love this theater. Much closer for us to go to Rome, but this theater is so nice, clean, and efficiently run. You can buy your movie tickets and concessions together at the concession stand instead of waiting in two separate lines. Such an awesome place, and the picture quality is terrific.

Compared to other offerings in the area for movies now days, this location needs to either update (and clean) its theaters, or drop its prices. You cant charge 5 star prices for a 3 star setup. Our family of 7 wont be back until Ive heard things are either cleaner or cheaper.

Picture and sound were not great because it was a smaller theater for a movie that had been out for a week. During the previews the picture was not showing only the sound, we had to go tell an employee. You will be better off driving to NGC in Acworth.

The staff is friendly, the popcorn is fresh and everything is mint clean. Of course, the concessions are expensive. Concessions are expensive at ALL venues. Buy a bucket and save on the price of popcorn the entire year. Relax and enjoy the movie.
