My husband, my daughter, and I had gone on Tuesday 9/13/16 for my daughters first time of seeing a movie in the theaters. Getting up to the concession stands to pay for our tickets, the guy working looked very unhygienic and was not friendly. He looked like he was either tired or high. When it came time to order our snacks, we decided on the giant soft pretzel, nachos and cheese, a "value size" drink and I had a coupon for a free small popcorn. The pretzel was hard and tasted funny, the nachos were a bit stale but tasted alright, and the guy behind the counter told me "Oh yeah, we changed it to where you have to print those type of coupons out now..." I responded saying in the email it never said to print the coupon out, it said to bring this in to show the employees to receive one free small popcorn. He just stood there dumbfounded and told me my total. If I had known I wasnt able to get a small popcorn like my coupon stated, I definitely would not have paid over $5 for a drink. We went to see Finding Dory, which the movie quality was great! The seats were very uncomfortable and squeaky. But my daughter overall enjoyed her first movie in the theater, but from now on we will go to Cinemark on the Family Days. I would much rather pay a few bucks more for MUCH better quality, including the friendliness of the employees and the taste of the food. Wouldnt recommend unless you dont buy concessions and dont mind the rough seats.

Saturday, February 28, 2015 - 12:00 pm showing. Price of movie was great ($3.00). DO NOT waste your money on the large popcorn - large pop refill special. The popcorn was from Friday night. I bought my first bag back and asked for fresh and the girl said the popcorn machine was frozen and they couldnt make fresh popcorn right now. Pretzels were not ready and we were told to wait another half hour for them. Upon leaving, I asked for a fresh bag of popcorn ($7.00) and again, this bag was not edible and I threw it away at home. Soaked and soggy with oil and neon yellow in coloring! There is a sign stating that outside food is prohibited, but the concession food is not worth the money, is not edible and will make you sick. Some people say: you cant complain about Danbarry because the price of a movie is cheap. I am complaining about the price of concession food not being edible and throwing 2 large bags of popcorn away. Spent $16.00 on food and the popcorn cost $7.00!

Ticket price are great & staff was very friendly however its dirty & the food is horrible. The popcorn had a bad taste & odd color. I even got sick from it & had to run to the restroom in the middle of the movie. The soft pretzel also tasted odd. Three seats were broken & roped off with yellow caution tape. The other seats were dirty & ripped. Overall the place is dirty & in desperate need of some TLC & food overhaul. While the price of the tickets is good the prices for the food is not much less than other theaters so the quality should be better.

Well probably would have rated it 0 stars if that was a choice. Absolutely disgusting theaters and bathrooms. Not to mention how horrible the theaters smell. They smell like dog poop. And the seats are disgusting. I sit on the edge of my seat every edge because the seats are so gross. I cant stand his place and will never ever go again. The past few times I went, the movie doesnt come on unless somebody tells the staff that the commercials are playin over and over again. This place needs some serious renovation.

update thank you to our ctiy offices all that helped the employees (yes they are our tax payers also) to help them to get the proper maintanence that they been wanting for so long . the owners are out of state so that was the no 1 problem the place has been corrected and working to keep open and to service everyone in a better environment.. please go and enjoy if something is out of place and needs correction please talk with mgr there they are good people

My family and I arrived late to the movie. X-MEN STARTED AT 10. WE WERE UNAWARE they close the doors ten minute after the movie starts. As we all the gentleman could we please enter we are only a few minutes into the minute. He states, " No, Ive been robbed before!" Im clueless as to what that means, but in KY. NO TIME TO FIND OUT. ..THIS WAS VERY OFFENSIVE and STEREOTYPICAL OF HIM TO SAY. .....WE WALKED AWAY and my daughter said,"God will handle him". ...

It is very nice and affordable as far as the tickets go, but concessions are normal. Just as a heads up so you dont go, expecting the concessions to be discounted too. They have to make their money some way. I was fine with it. The only thing that I thought was strange was that you had to buy tickets with cash (another heads up). Theyd take your card for concessions and they do have an ATM. Overall I was more than happy with my visit.

We used to go here often. After our last two visits, I have decided despite the great prices, we will not be back. The theaters themselves have become disgustingly dirty. Seats are filthy. I did not even want to sit in them the last time we went. In addition, several times I have had to go ask someone to turn the lights off and start the previews. Twenty minutes after movie start time, we were still watching a lot of commercials.

May 22, 2016 Had I known that this place was so flithy inside, I would had never went in. Me and my Husand thought we were going to catch a cheap flick at this property because it was in the area where we stayed, however upon purchasing the tickets and going to find a seat before the lights had dimmed it was disgusting! We could not even find a seat to sit because the chairs were so trifling, and my Husband swore there were rats

Overall, a great experience with my family and friends. The food was great, especially the popcorn with layered butter. The employees are fun and great and look like they enjoy their job. The seats were nice and the movie was very entertaining. I strongly suggest you bring your kids to this theatre because of the experience and the price of the movie tickets and food. The tickets WERE ONLY $1.75 on tuesdays. Just FANTASTIC!!

Movies are $3. Huge savings over the other cinemas. They show all the recent movies just a few weeks after they close at the big guys. Great because by the time you decide that you want to see a particular movie everyone says to see but you find it has been dropped at all the local big bucks theaters, Danbarry will have it. Only problem is that there snacks are pricey.

Ticket prices are nice but Id rather pay full price for me and my kids to have decent coustomer service. No thank you. No enjoy your show. Its Friday night and the food isnt ready at the concession stand. This isnt a movie theatre. Its watching a movie and someones house you dont really like who has no food to offer but you enjoy the size of their tv. Go else where.
