My wife and myself ate here today 9-27-16 for the first time under the new name. What awesome food. Our server Joe had a great upbeat personality. I had the chicken n waffle combo and itd was off the chain. The wifey had ten lemon pepper wings and ten hot wings..we could not believe the size of the wings. Totally not your average bar food either..they seem to take pride in the quality by hiring a above average cook and above average servers. Keep up the good work people. Look forward to eating here again..oh u almost forgot the prices were very reasonable for the amount of food!!

Absolutely terrible location. Refused me service and treated me like a criminal because I was wearing a tank top (no kidding). We just wanted some food and they said my girlfriend could order, but I would have to stay outside. The glaring eyes and sheer offense they took for something as simple as an article of clothing was insane. I sincerely hope this location gets shut down soon. Ive never experienced anything like that in my life and neither had my girlfriend.

This is where 20 something alcoholics come on the weekends and where the biker crowd hangs out during the day. Atmosphere wise its just off-putting and uninviting. Ive been in Gainesville a few years now and whenever someone brings up Mule Camp as a place to go everyone gives a groan, its a last resort style place that will always be there but will never be on the top of anyones list. The BBQ is pretty tasty, but then again so is Smoke House.

I like MCT. Its a dive bar, but its Gainesvilles dive bar. Ive had a lot of good memories in that place, and Im happy to see what the owner turned it into. They have live music usually during the weekend, and its mostly the best tribute bands around the area. Some local music, which can be cool. Drinks are good, as is the food. Only complaint is the bathrooms are too small, and can be smelly at times.

The reviewer who called this a "Biker Bar" is pretty out of touch. I was denied entry because of my riding vest. "No Club Colors" I was told. My club has donated over $3M to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital - not exactly criminal. However, I understand that some places have this as a blanket rule. The bouncer was very courteous about it. Ill come back some time without my "colors".

I love this place. Its been there a long time so the floor plan is unique, but that is part of its charm. Three pool tables (with new felt and bumpers), happy hour drinks ... try the pink drink if you like sweet and fruity. Outside area for nice weather. Live music, largely cover bands, but theyve got skills. Good food. Try the pork sliders. Great staff.

Always had awesome experiences at MCT. The owner really turned this place around after buying out AJs implementing a new menu, new tables and booths and bringing in an awesome staff. Live music on the weekends brings the crowds. Food is awesome. Atmosphere is even better. The place to be on a Friday or Saturday night in Gainesville!

Place was slow and service was still below average had more employees than they needed and alot of standing around talking to each other... food was average, Band was below average, some security guy standing around looking like mighty mouse... could be a really good bar... needs someone to run it

Service is EXCELLENT!!! Music, any day of the week, is AWESOME!. Food is GREAT!. Building itself is small, but theres a bar area, restaurant area, pool tables and an outside patio. Location is in dowtown Gainesville square, parking nearby. The owner, Ronnie, is a great guy!!!

Great dive bar, smell is a bit off putting at first but goes away. Food was excellent!! Nice drink specials. Very live with locals. Seems like there is a bit to keep you occupied inside, pool, jukebox, live music. I would definitely return for the food and drinks.

Service was horrible took close to 30 min. To get a drink had to ask for a menu. Chris the bouncer was extremely perverted greeting guest into the tavern. Appeared to be very racist as who are welcome into the tavern Ajs was much better cleaner, friendlier

Mule Camp Tavern is fantastic and has fantastic service. Their bartenders are always great and the food is to die for. Not your typical bar food. If you like Spicy food like me try the ghost super slayer wings! And the in-house made blue cheese is legit.

Awesome atmosphere. Ive played there with my band quite a few times, and the staff treated us quite well every time. The food is really good too! I recommend the fried jalapeños and the bbq sandwich. If youre nearby, definitely check it out.

Moved to Gainesville in January and this is our go to place. Awesome atmosphere, the staff is point on!!!! Great food and great bands. Even if theres not a band its a fun time. Pool tables, a patio, its the best place in Gainesville.
