Although the food we had was good, we were very disappointed with the menu options. I had researched the menu and was very much looking forward to a particular appetizer and entree. When we got there (st. Patricks day) we were told there was a special menu for the holiday and that was the only option for the night. I am not a huge fan of corned beef, Brussel sprouts and shepherds pie. We had a few questions about the menu and the waiter couldnt answer them. We were there for over two hours and although the bands playing were good, it made for a too long dinner. You seat yourself for dinner but there is a host stand before you enter. I am not sure, maybe because it was a holiday, but they were charging $10 to even enter. The process of coming in was confusing. Maybe the host just assumed most people were regulars. She didnt really explain things, just said, "$10 each" to which I replied we just want to eat dinner (we were staying at the hotel). Thankfully, another employee was standing by and informed us that hotel guests didnt have to pay the entry fee.

Ive spent many a night dancing away my "troubles" at Melting Point. They have decent food, though it was better under the old management. The new (this year) menu still has a variety of vegetarian options... so thats nice, but its geared more to "pub-type" food now. The other reviewers are right. The servers need some training, but the bartenders are amazing (ask for Fernando!). Melting Point is easily my favorite spot in Athens for live music... you can tell the guy at the sound board really knows what hes doing.

A little expensive for Athens standards but with servers who are knowledgable and helpful (shout out to Moira) and shows ranging from comedy headliners to spoken word like Rabbit Box, I end up stopping by at least once a season, in spite of being broke as all get-out. I havent had the food but it sure smells decent and the venue itself is extremely visually appealing albeit a little tightly packed.

My sorority attended a "Tailgate Tuesday" show at the Foundry this past week and it was amazing!!! Great music from Chris Bandi and Casey Edgar! We were all so impressed by the atmosphere, food, and bar. The Foundry is a great place for college students (or adults) to hear great music and an even better place to hold a banquet or date night. Love love love this place! We will be back!

I love the Foundry/Iron Works Coffee. The staff and baristas all exemplify amazing and personalized service, and they make you feel so wonderful on top of making you a fresh, handcrafted coffee! This place is one of my absolute favorite hangouts for when I want to catch up with friends in a leisurely pace, or when I want to work on a project amongst some muffled chatter.

Really good food and REALLY good music. For a small place they have some really big names coming through. They obviously care about live music and it shows! Disappointed that I just missed The Ragbirds and Dave Mason but I get to see The Steeldrivers there and it was GOOD. I had a pork bbq and slaw sandwich and really enjoyed it. Fantastic beer selection too.

Ive eaten here a few times, always to watch a concert. After paying a fee to get in the prices are a bit high, and the food portions are relatively quite low. Ive never been particularly pleased with anything Ive ordered here, but Ive never had anything disgusting either.

This place was astounding. We saw Mandolin Orange on October 22nd, and the venue is perfect. The staff was great and friendly, and the food was awesome. Great beers on tap, also. We most definitely will be going back again.

Staff was setting up for a wedding, but they still allowed our group hang out at the bar and our service wasnt nearly interpreted. In fact, we has a private live band play for us while they performed sound checks.
