After coming a long way to watch my husband race I was told very rudely by an organizer that my dogs could not be in velodrome spectator area because they could run onto track despite them being on a leash and there was a door to get onto track and should be kept in the car but I was welcome to watch. Its 90 degrees outside - I dont know what kind of person tells you to keep your dogs in car in this weather. I have brought my dogs to plenty of other cycling events and have always been welcomed. There are no signs posted for no dogs. Horrible experience - we will not be back.

A rare opportunity for cyclists to ride a velodrome in the United States, the Dick Lane velodrome also supports a youth cycling league, teaching youngsters how to ride on the track for free. The scenery and sport make attending races here a great experience!

The velodrome has helped me a bunch in the past year. I love this velodrome. This is like my second home. BY THE WAY the pro races are really fast and fun to watch.
