It was my first time at this park and my kids enjoyed it. We live in Elk Grove but after our Nimbus hatchery play date we decided to take the kids to the nearest park in Folsom. And my friend recommended this spot. This place is similar to the one in Elk Grove but infrastructure is much nicer. The park doesnt have a big shade area or lots of benches but you can bring your picnic mat and enjoy the nice and clean playground. The park is designed to resemble the castle. Its suitable for all ages of kids. My 9 months old son enjoyed the baby swings while my daughter enjoyed the slides and older swings. They have lots of shades at this park. The kids can play hide and seek in the park or adults can host picnic or birthday events here. Highly recommend to those parents who are looking for nice and clean playground for their little ones.

I want to point out 2 design "flaws" that parents should be aware of. One, it is easy to lose track of your kids due to so many obstructions to visibility (lots of places to hide is fun for the kids, true, but a bit stressful for parents at a public park). Two, Park Officials please get rid of the concrete frogs in the pathway. I had a fairly serious head injury by 3yo grandson there yesterday. They are low to the ground and have lots of edges, guardians be careful when your little ones are near them.

It pains me to only give 4 stars because this is my favorite park near my house. However it does not have a restroom nearby and that makes hydration in the hot summer months difficult. Not to mention trying to potty train. It is a great place to play for a wide range of ages and makes you feel like youve been transported you another place with the castle theme.

Very cool little park. Swings for kids and babies. Lots of grass, plenty of picnic tables. Plenty of shade. Its in a clean and quiet neighborhood. the road is not busy so no worries about kids running out into traffic.

Aka castle park because of the all wood play structure here. This park is actually made up of three small pieces, but kid play, tot lot for smaller kids and a sand lot. There is a large seating area for picnics

Good place for kids to go wild, as well as adults...lol, its a fun place, I played with my daughter and gets enough excercise, and its safer than those modern slides because its not that easy for kids to fall.

My 5 year old daughter loves this park. There are several good play structures with places to climb, crawl, swing, and play. The lack of bathrooms is problematic; plan ahead.
