The owner and staff, Ivy Marie Weddings, are (in my opinion) inexperienced and unprofessional. I constantly had to follow up for requests as easy as a measurement, which they never gave me and I took at my 60 day meeting. Ivy and her staff were, painfully obvious to me and my guests, amateurs learning on the job and had no right, in my opinion, being involved on my special day that I spent thousands on. The air seemed to have gone out in the venue, May 27, as it was 85 degrees inside according to their thermostat. The high for that day in Ball Ground was 82. The owner Debbie and her staff put the blame on guests and caterers for the heat when it was obvious there was an issue with their AC. When asking for some money to be reimbursed due to the inferno (which only seemed fair) and several other issues we had with the venue and staff, I was told I would hear back from them. When I finally did get a response ot was that they had seen my reviews and that she felt there was no need for further contact . Being that this is a once in a lifetime day that I had dreamed of, i felt as though it was ruined with their inability to run a venue, communicate with each other, and their awful attitude. We were given several inconsistencies throughout the process and even asked what our details were at the rehearsal. As you can imagine, it was frustrating when they were unresponsive until the day of. They set a self serve drink station and claim that the bartender, that was an extra cost,only serves alcohol which was never mentioned until after the wedding. Extra costs will pop up last minute with the venue, for example we paid $250 for her to rent 30 chairs when we stated 150 people the entire time. Ivy is rude and did not listen to my needs or wants as a bride,as is her next in line Megan who appeared to be learning on the job. Many times Megan dropped the ball and snapped at my guests. Its heartbreaking to hear how she spoke to people after the wedding was done and after so much money was spent. They say they are all inclusive but my husband and I felt that there was a lot on our part to do that didnt seem all inclusive. I wish I couldve saved myself the stress and heartache and went to a venue who was established, professional, and wanted to help, vs one that took styled photo shoots for social media purposes, excuses over work, and all around didnt seem to care. I believe Corner District is just after the consumers money. The only good thing to my nightmare of dealing with Corner District and Ivy Marie Weddings is Hannah, we loved Hannah and her work ethic.

Whatever you do, GET MARRIED HERE! I cannot write enough good things about this venue and its owners. After speaking with so many venues in Georgia we were so discouraged. Every other venue either provided everything and was so turn key to the point where you did not get to have any input or they hardly provided anything at all. Then we found The Corner District. The moment I met co-owner Debbie Ley I knew that this is where we would get married. She gave us options to make it as turn key as we wanted or gave us the option to custom create whatever we wanted. She was there to support us and help us create the day of our dreams. And the venue is gorgeous! We wanted a venue that spoke for itself, not a cookie cutter venue. It has the original hardwood floors, plaster walls, and exposed brick from the general store it once was in the early 1900s, and it has several beautiful chandeliers that soften the space just enough. It really was the perfect venue for us.

My husband and I had our engagement party/shower at The Corner District in the Warehouse portion of the venue. It was the perfect space for a casual, laid back get together that made the event way more fun than hosting it at one of our houses, as well as way more affordable than other wedding venues out there. I really love that they host other events rather than just weddings, and that they have the two separate spaces allowing you to just rent out one space to save money. The staff was lovely, going above and beyond on my design ideas to make it really special, even though it was just a party. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the indoor/outdoor vibe with the smores + fire pit. I highly recommend this venue!

Wonderful wedding venue. Its breath taking and the staff is the best. Debbie is responsive and so accommodating. Ivy is the best coordinator! She made my whole wedding day run smoothly. She is completely dedicated to making your day perfect. She even stepped in between me and a car, using herself as a shield! Five stars are not enoigh.

What a beautiful venue! Close enough to Atlanta, but far enough to get away, I couldnt recommend it more. Debbie and her planners are thoughtful, caring and its clear that they have many years of experience invested in the industry. They were so accommodating, Im glad a venue + team like this exists!

Ivy and Debbie are so easy to work with and will make sure that your event goes just the way you like it. The venue itself is so beautiful and has such a rustic yet modern feel. Book this place if you havent already!
