Historic Roswell is full of beauty and charm everywhere you look. There are so many unique restaurants, bars, boutiques, and even a quaint tea room perfect for a bridal luncheon! Driving down Mimosa Boulevard there are several beautiful churches and wedding venues. But to me, there is one venue on this street that takes the “wedding” cake, Kimball Hall. Kimball Hall is full of charm and history. Every time I visit I am blown away with the décor and large open ballroom with a gorgeous view of the gardens in the backyard. Whether you see Kimball Hall during the day or night, you will fall in love. The sun shines in the backyard over the green grass, knockout rose bushes and beautiful archway equipped with a chandelier. At night the patio comes to life with hundreds of twinkling lights and the sound of a fountain sets the mood. Inside the ballroom glows with several petite chandeliers on the ceiling (hand lit by Julie), one above every table! This makes the ballroom very romantic and whimsical! The rooms upstairs are amazing and exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a fun place the hang out with my bridesmaids before saying “I do”. There are two rooms for the bridesmaids and bride, a bathroom, a room for the groomsmen and a very romantic private table setting for two for your first meal as husband and wife! This was a moment my husband and I will always cherish. My bridesmaids and I had a blast listening to music and getting ready for our special day in the bridal suite. The rooms also made for some very memorable photo opportunities. After visiting Kimball Hall I fell in love! The owner of Kimball Hall, Julie, is the most wonderful lady I have ever met. Her goal is to make your wedding day perfect and everything you have been dreaming of come true. She and her staff go above and beyond and will do everything in their power to make sure you are happy. Julie and her team really do make wedding planning stress-free and fun. Every other month Julie hosts an open house giving brides both looking and booked an opportunity to experience Kimball Hall and its preferred vendors in action. This was a HUGE help for planning. Every wedding is different and every open house showcases real brides’ table designs! This opens your mind to different styles and ideas for your special day. If I had to rate Kimball Hall from a 1 – 10 I would give it a 10. It offers everything I wanted in a wedding venue and more. From the moment I saw Kimball Hall it was love at first site. Not only do you get a beautiful venue, you get people that really do care about YOUR day and make sure EVERY bride and groom feel special! Julie understands this is an important moment in your lives and she will make sure you have many happy memories!

I do not recommend this venue to anyone! Through my whole year of wedding planning with Kimball Hall I was told that everything was under control. Boy was I mislead! The day of the wedding was a nightmare!!! Julie, the owner and wedding coordinator brought me down for pics as guests were pouring into the house which is a big no no! I have heard from numerous friends and family that she was hateful to them. Also, DJ Dustin one of her preferred vendors in my opinion is the worst DJ I have ever heard. He didnt play any of our requested music that we wrote out for him. The whole night felt as if him and Julie werent on the same page as no announcements were made for the cake cutting, etc. The ceremony and the grounds are beautiful, but do not be fooled by the owners Southern Charm. I have hateful emails to back up her not so nice hospitality! Please feel free to ask any questions to my post because I do not want you to have a day like mine. Thank God for my honeymoon- I needed it after this disaster!

Kimball Hall was an absolute dream. The grounds are fabulous with a grassy lawn and a really nice courtyard on the side. At night, the courtyard has little twinkle lights in the tree that really set the mood. They also have a pleasant little water feature that adds a little something. The hall itself is just the right mix of traditional and modern. You can feel the history of the old house, but there is a wonderful big ballroom in the back where everyone can be together. Julie Stephens and her team are top notch. She made us feel calm and comfortable. Her experience shows in everything she does. She had great ideas and told us what to avoid. The flowers by Pat Holland were gorgeous. When they mixed the antique-looking silver candle holders with the glass vases, it was so beautiful. Truly, everything came off without a hitch. You wont go wrong choosing this venue if you can get it. They stay pretty booked up.

Words alone are not enough to describe the depth of appreciation and happiness we have for Julie and her staff who made our wedding day so special. We had a wonderful time, and even in somewhat inclement weather conditions, we smoothed right on through like it didnt even phase us! Julie was attentive, understanding, and displayed the utmost kindness and love to us, and we cant thank you enough for all that you did to make our day so memorable. I would highly recommend Kimball Hall for anyone who wants their day to be as special as ours ;-)

My daughters wedding was in June 2014 and was a delightful experience at KH. I cannot say enough good things about the venue, Julie Stephens and her staff. Pat Holland did a wonderful job with the flowers (holding out decorating the arbor until after the rain). I highly recommend KH to anyone, whether for a wedding or any other event.

The level of service at Kimball Hall is top notch! Julie and her staff have turned their wonderful Queen Anne house into one of the best places to get married in Atlanta. The personal touches she adds really make Kimball Hall standout. My wife and I did not get married at Kimball Hall, but we sure wish we did.
