Weston 8 cinemas – This theatre screams for a makeover! The concession area could use a good cleaning. The counters were sticky, yet the teenage workers behind the counter did not seem to notice. The Theatre seating is old school with cloth seats and no stadium seating. The arcade games in the lobby make the perfect hangout (or daycare) for Weston teens. No parental supervision! Seems like parents just drop off their kids and pick them up after the movie. If you are planning a date night avoid going on a Friday or Saturday night….Its chaotic, noisy, like walking through a high school hallway. After a problem with the sound going out in our movie we were told by a female manager that “it’s not their fault.” She refused to compensate the complaining customers with free passes. (as is the policy with most theatres) Even more shocking, in the middle of eveything, she took a phone call and told complaining customers to hold on till she got off the phone !!! We thought we were on “Punked” . Very unprofessional. Overall, Not worth the money….take a drive out of Weston and go to another theatre.

Once again these theater disappoints. I love that they remodeled and its fantastic that we finally get to buy the tickets online and choose seats but today I was so mad. I bought a ticket for 10:45 am which is rare to find that time in any theatre. Kids are still out of school and they would be sleeping and by the time i got back from the movie they might be starting to wake up. Its perfect until i get to the theater and its close because the alarm went off and there seem to be nothing happening but they cant let people in and I lost my opportunity. They just said maybe come back at 1. It defeats the purpose because someone that is willing to go to a 10:45 showing doesnt have all day to wait for the theater to want to open. Anyway DISAPPOINTED Is the title of this review

Ive been coming to this theatre for a few months now, today we got there late and ended up in the horrible front seats, they should be illegal to say the least, never Never take this seats , this seats are just terrible, I had to close my eyes or look else where thru half the movie to not get dizzy, just a bad way of selling extra seating, they should be ashamed of their selfeves, I would of walked off if it wasnt for my wife that felt bad walking out. but I have to say if you get there on time and get decent chairs, the seats/chairs are very comfortable.

Its been quite some time since I have been here. I have heard that AMC bought them out so I have yet to see if they added any upgrades so consider this review to be as old as 2012 when I watched "Men In Black 3". This theater in general is small and outdated but it provides a family friendly atmosphere with employees who are always willing to help. The biggest problem that I had was that it lacked stadium seating.. so its a bit of a hassle if you have someone taller than you sitting in front.

Weston 8 cinemas is a blast from the past, complete with old arcade games and the familiar aroma emanating from the concession stand. It may not have stadium seating, but it does have nostalgic value. The staff is genuienly friendly and not constantly trying to upsell you a large coke or popcorn. The only reason I didnt give this theater 5 stars is because of the large middle school crowd (its bearable though). I also wish the facilities were a bit cleaner. Overall, its a great experience.

Being new to the area my family and I loved this movie theater in particular because its very different from the AMC we were accustomed going to in Aventura Mall for years. This Weston AMC theater is very clean and updated with modern recliners and a descent size room with a cozy feel to it! Its like being in an IPic theater just less pricey! Oh and BTW Bring your blanket too it can get pretty cold in there. Buuuur Over all I definitely give it 5 stars !!!!!

Ever since this theater was remodeled, we have been loyal customers. The staff is super friendly; the environment (including restrooms) are stocked and clean; the snacks are good (fresh); and the seats are super comfortable. We also like the fact that we can choose our seats a well. We usually come on Tuesdays and take advantage of the special discount prices, too. Its a nice break in the week to relax and enjoy a good movie. :)

Coming from a teen in Weston, its not a bad hang out. Arcade games, good pricing on food and drinks; its not bad for a small town theater. I would suggest updating the seating and cleaning the floors a little bit more since they are a little on the sticky side. The staff is really sweet though. This is a great place to go for opening night realises because it isnt packed, like Cinamark.

Purchased tickets through kiosk; another patron made purchase through app - for same seats. No other seats - together - were available. Management did refund amount paid for tickets, offered to see another movie, and provided passes. Had already purchase tickets for another movie - had to sit around for 45 minutes waiting for next movie (no arcade games, etc. to pass time).

they have two lines,one for premier holders and one for regular, well if youve been in line for 30 min. and someone whose premier walks up they take them first and if that person finishes and another premiere walks up well your out of luck even if there are 2 lines . treated like second class sucks. they ignore you until the whole premiere line is cleared

Reviewed on 10/24/2015... WOW!!! I went here before the renovation... Totally different theater!!! They just needs to start serving dinner/food and it will be my primary theater!! ALL automatic reclining leather seating, great staff, cozy theater, zero complaints from me!! Never really crowded either. Great place to watch any movie!

Ticket guy was incredibly rude & ID me and my sister and gave us a hard time for the movie we wanted to see, then after arguing with us proceeded to tell us the movie was sold out since we didnt pick our seats online (so I believe he was lying about the movie being sold out). Never going back & if I could give it no stars I would.

Bizarre!!!!!! I was walking to the bathroom and someone asked me if Im gay just because I wear colorful sandals!!!! Ridiculous, people kept throwing popcorn at my head in the movie and spitting on my friend, The worst part is the person who was throwing popcorn was a local bully!!!! Life is hitting me hard

December 18th 2015. Everything is brand new. Very clean. Professional staff. Chairs are all huge and recline. Serves beer and other alcoholic drinks. Can pick your own seats at theater or online. Very happy this is near me now. This is my go to theater again!! Well done and highly recommended.

My favorite thing about the theater are the chairs every time i go I get free gum because i take some from the bottom of the seats. YUMMY. I also like their windows they are very nice and clean, if the color the windows are supposed be is black. Then again free gum. :)
