Do not stay at this hotel, there are Cockroaches in the dinning area, actually on the shoulder of a patron eating his meal. The customer service is beyond poor, the worst I have ever experienced in my lifetime, and them many times I have stayed at a Marriott hotel. The Palm Beach Gardens Marriott Hotel located on RCA Blvd. As long time, extremely loyal Elite Marriott Reward Member, I am appalled by the treatment my wife and I received this morning by the management and staff at this hotel. There was a cockroach on the shoulder of another patron in the hotel in the dinning room during breakfast this morning. I am pretty sure that there is a strong correlation between the cockroach siting, and likely infestation, at the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott Hotel on RCA Blvd in West Palm Beach, Florida. This is obviously not a good thing, but what is worse, is being a long time very loyal Marriott customer and being told to leave the lobby by the General Manager, Mr. Clarence Mayes, so that the other customers would not hear my complaint. Furthermore, to add insult to literal injury, Mr. Mayes has refused to reimburse me, a Marriott Reward Elite Member, for my stay, and more importantly for the food we ate which very likely is why both my wife and I have food poising. We have contact the Palm Beach County Health Inspector. We are seeking medical treatment for the food-borne illness. I am utterly disappointed and sickened by the treatment that I, the customer, received by Mr. Mayes and his staff. A wonderful way to treat a long time loyal customer and his newly wed wife, while visiting for their honeymoon. Thank you Marriott Hotels, but no thank you, and never again. Stayed there two nights for a family dinner/event held at the hotel. Seemed ok, friendly reception staff. At the dinner, one of the meal choices brought out for my wife (fish) was hard as a rock, way overcooked. She asked the wait staff for the other choice (steak) and was told no, there was a limited number of meals and that was that. Not taking that for an answer, I cornered another waiter and insisted that the meal be replaced. He said he would look to see if they had an extra steak and I told him not to come back without it. That night, we returned to our room to find the carpet soaking wet outside the bathroom and around the bed. The room phone was dead and I had to go down to the lobby and wait 10 minutes at reception behind a group of people checking in before I could speak to a desk clerk. His response was: "well, do you want another room?" I was astounded that he would ask something that stupid. At the same time, the lobby was occupied by several police officers, with several squad cars parked out front. A fun Saturday night in Palm Beach Gardens. I told the clerk I expected a credit for the room and was told I would get 10,000 Marriott points -- BFD. We did get another room, next to other guests with children who decided it was ok to shout and carry on at 11:30 at night. I had to call down to the front desk to have them quiet down our neighbor. Ive stayed at a lot of Marriotts, but this one is not worthy of the name.

Horrible ! First night the power in room kept tripping the breaker and all lights , microwave went out and all lights went out TWICE. We had to call down twice and get engineering department on the phone . The king size bed was so worn out and sunken in that I woke up with a back ache and called down at 3am to note it with them .There was also loud music from there night club downstairs .. Ok, no big deal...I let all the issues go. But the next morning my two year old son handed me an OPENED pack of cigarettes and lighter that he found somewhere on the floor in our room. He had cigarettes in his hand and was playing with them! That is the cleanliness I would expect from a SUPER 8 MOTEL. Not expected when your paying pricey rates per night ! I spoke with "Katie" manager downstairs and she was so rude and unhelpful . I guess she doesnt know the seriousness of nicotine poisoning in a toddler !!! This is HOSPITALITY? NOT! They shoved me off and told me they would issue me 5,000 rewards points. OH THANKS! Other manager said he would comp the night and NEVER did . Rooms should be cleaned after every guest! Do NOT stay here ! Building is attractive and looks clean but it is sub standard to say the least ! Go with HILTON, I have never had these issues with them! Same prices !

I have had a crappy experience here. First off, requesting a double bed and being told that they could only do a king bed with no other compensation besides a fabricated "Im sorry" was quite crappy service. Front desk said that the room at least had a sofa bed and, no, it doesnt. Its a chair. So just a king bed. Then - and this is the reason I am posting this review, its the last straw - the hotel is attached to a night club. If you are on the side with the night club or stay on a Friday or Saturday night, you will be hearing LOUD bass music pumping (and maybe a fight outside!) until 3am. The rooms themselves are typical mid range hotel rooms (not well cleaned but its a hotel room) but this experience has been far from being worth $180 for one night. Dont forget, check-in time isnt 3pm like most places - its 4pm for whatever reason, with no late checkout! Thanks! If you cant find somewhere better, dont expect the room you request and dont forget ear plugs...

What a disappointing platinum Elite experience . Mistakes on room service. Meal picked up and left in hall for hours . Repeated calls to make up our room after my husbands surgery ignored for hours . Inquiry about availability of specific pain killer in Sundries turned out to be a lie. Cleaning products left in our bathroom . Complimentary Room Coffee tea left un-replenished . No appetizers offering for 5-7 . Only a simple meal with veggies or cheese. Triple charge for the amount for wine . 10$ charge became 35$ ?! No response whenbwe complained told they would inquire and to check . Never heard from then 2 days later! So may mistakes in a 2 day stay . Disappointing choice of Marriotts . n addition 2 days after we checked out we received 2 additional charges adding up to around 80$. Definitely something sketchy happening at this hotel ! After 3 phone calls They still havent removed more than100$ in bogus charges!!

Came in for a few days to help a friend buy a house and stayed at this Marriott. I was greeted by friendly faces and my room was very clean. The best part was the hotel bar, Neil and Jennifer were terrific and knew my name and what I drank by the second night. JW was absolutely wonderful. He explained how he had updated the menu and recommended some new dishes for me to try. Everything I tried was delicious especially the chicken avocado sandwich. I highly recommend this Marriott for business or just relaxation. They do need to get cable in the bar so people like me (from Chicago) can watch the Black Hawks!!!! Miss you guys already. I will be back.
