My first experience with this new theater. I was very unimpressed with everything up to the point of getting into the actual seating place to watch the movie. I walked in, and first tried the automated ticket. Not easy to use. Had the movie titles listed then initials that stood for who knows what. The movie I wanted to see had 4 different ones and my luck I chose the other 3 first before I gave up on it and went to the counter. I first looked around and they had a maze of taped off areas registers on one side, soda machines and a guy standing behind to bins of popcorn. I didnt enter the maze right and ended up asking the guy behind the popcorn what the deal was. I then walked around the maze and got to the other side with the registers. I got our tickets, then were handed empty cups and our bucket, also empty, for the popcorn and directed back to the other side. It isnt very convenient to do this. I liked it better at the Prattville cinema where you get everything at the counter. Now a side note. Coca-cola has these multiplex dispensers. They seem to be going in more places now. I absolutely hate these because I really dont think the taste is the same. Its much worse. Sometimes you get drinks that taste like other drinks mixed in or they arent calibrated well, anyway, they are terrible and I will avoid places that use them. So, that being said, the next part makes it even more unappealing. The dispensers were covered in soda, the button to press got stuck on me and kept going pass the point of filling my cup. It was a mess. The lids were easy to get to, but it such a small area, you cant really put things down anywhere to get things situated. Only one napkin dispenser, and one straw container. So, you either need help or hope there isnt a lot of people there so you can get things together. One person behind the popcorn counter. We didnt have much of a line, but first you wait to purchase, then you wait for a soda dispenser, then you wait to get your lids/straws/napkins, then you wait for your popcorn. Oh, if you want butter, then you go back to where the sodas are and wait again. So, this is a complete an utter disappointment for me. What normally takes a short time to get everything turned into an extra 20 minutes that I didnt expect and dont usually have when I goto Prattville cinema. And, that was when it wasnt very crowded. I would hate to see it when they get busy. So, after all this, I went from being excited about seeing a movie to regretting ever coming here. Then I walked into the actual theater. It was impressive. The space, the seats, the screen, everything was just as I said impressive. The seats were comfortable, temperature in the room was good, viewing the screen from any angle was perfect because of the curved screen. The sound was great. So, this part made up fro everything that I just went through. So, if you dont care about food and drinks and just goto the movie I would give this place a 5 star. But the customer service at the beginning, no direction, un-enthused employees, except for maybe one. too many waiting areas and disorganization. I would give this place a 1 star. So, ballancing it out I gave it a 3. However, I will be going to the prattville one instead of this one. I may try again some other time, but as much as I have to pay to enjoy going to see a movie, I shouldnt have to go through frustration to get to the enjoyment part.

Waste of money.....go to the Rave! The facilities are new, but that does not matter because I never get to see the beginning of the movie. My wife and I drive 45 minutes from Troy, Alabama and the last two times we have gone I have had to leave the movie to get the staff and tell them to do their job. The first time was the last Hunger Games Movie and they left the bright overhead lights on. Then this weekend during the Insurgent Movie they did not open the curtains all the way up, so 15 feet of the screen on either side was blocked. Both times I went to the staff and was met with attitude when I told them about the problem. When I called their customer service number, they just hung up on me. It may not sound like that big of a deal, but when I watch a movie I want to enjoy it and see all of it, especially when it is $13 dollars a ticket. So since they would not even listen to my concerns, I thought I would warn everyone via the internet. My wife and I have decided not to go back and to go to our local movie theater or to the Rave in Montgomery, where we have never had a problem.

The only good thing I have to say is that it is very nice on the inside. I do wish I could give it zero stars. I took my daughter to see the spongebob movie recently and it was just me and her. The total cost was $11.00 so I gave the guy behind the counter my credit card and he charged me double. I did not even notice till I got home and looked at my receipts and my online banking that he had charged me double instead of the $11.00. I then called and talked to a manager named Stephanie who said she would check the terminal and call me back the same day. Two weeks went by and I never heard nothing. So I called again and a different manager gave me corporates number in Georgia and all I get over there is a voice recording and no one ever returns my phone calls. I still have not been apologized too, refunded, nothing about this issue. Its sad that I always promoted this theater and told all my friends to go and all this theater wants to do is steal your money and charge you double. Make sure to check your receipts. Management still has not handled the issue.

This theater is clean, with lots of space and very well sized screens. The employees are a hit or miss. We went today, and they all seemed new. One of the employees in particular was very snippy and had an attitude. Once we finally got into the theater for a 3D movie, the screen wasnt working and the whole screen was still blurry with the 3D glasses on. We went and told the employees, and they sent people in to fix it and told us they would restart the movie because we missed the whole beginning. They fixed the screen and it looked great, but they never restarted the movie. The whole time we were trying to patch together the whole movie to the beginning without having any idea of what happened in the beginning of the movie. The theaters nice, and we will definitely give it another chance, but be warned. Sometimes its great, sometimes its not.

This theater is head and shoulders above the Rave and makes the Prattville theater look like the old $1 theaters we had back in the day. You are handed empty cup and bag/bucket to cut down on the line length to get tickets. Why should someone who just wants to buy a ticket have to stand behind a family of five buying enough food to feed the whole theater waiting forever to get their ticket? They eliminate that by having the concessions elsewhere. I have no problems filling my drink because I know how to use a soda dispenser (which by the way does not taste any different than the old fashioned fountains) and getting my popcorn and putting butter on it? No problems there as well. If you need someone to butter your popcorn then go to the Rave and enjoy their cocoa butter on your popcorn.
