My favourite ride in all of Walt Disney World. The atmosphere is great while in line and on the ride. Let the cast member know when you get in line if you want to sit in the very front and they will direct you to a special line once you get to the loading area (if there is a line). If there isnt too much of a wait, the view once you get to a certain point on the ride is awesome. Also, while you are in line just before you get to the loading area, they have little "ads" on the wall that actually incorporate your name sensed via your magic band. I thought it was a fun little touch that most people dont notice. This ride also takes a picture just after the first "encounter." Ride it as many times as you can!

The best ride out of all the Disney Parks: BY FAR. This ride was so fun and amazing! It has a cool storyline which is that the Yeti is trying to get you so it chases you. In the queue and the fast pass queue there are tons of stuff to look at so you dont get bored. That Drop at the end though is the best part! It also goes backwards and it feels like your going upside down (G-Force) but you dont really go upside down. Small children may not like this ride, but some might do. (there is a hight restriction) I also wouldnt reccomend it for people who dont like thrill rides. But maybe thats just me. Overall, really good ride.

A new generation of Disney thrill rides done right. It has all the elements of a coaster faster, taller and twistier without losing the charm of a Disney ride. And somehow they didnt sacrifice the theme and attention to detail (something Sea World has always had trouble with in their E-ticket attractions). Only gripes (that dont mark it down a grade in the least) is that the line, while nicely adorned for the most part, has no air conditioning and few fans when hot and crowded. A long wait can become torturous. Highly recommended to fast pass this one only during peak (hot) summer season.

This is a thrill ride where a yeti is trying to get your train in the Himalayas. The evidence grows from conspiracies, to murals, to realizing youre screw when you examine evidence on the mountain, to possibly a sighting if you keep a sharp eye out. Ultimately if you have a child younger than 10 encourage them to go on but sit by them as it gets loud with roars and riders screaming. There is a reason its so popular that they havent been able to fix the bird on a stick ( when you hear a hawk calling at the first stop at the top) and the yeti still needs to be fixed a little.

I am a Disney finatic and when I visit the park Expedition Everest is always gonna get my first fast pass. This ride tells a story, as you walk through the line (which usually isnt very long considering the quality of the attraction) you learn the story and the history of mountain. So when it is finally your turn to ride you are full of excitement. The effects in the ride are great, and it is a higher quality smother thrill ride. Lastly if you are comparing Expedition Everest to the Matterhorn over in Disney Land, this blows it out of the park.

Best ride at Animal Kingdom, initially a calm coaster but soon everything "goes wrong". Last ride sticks in my mind to the resounding cry from a lady of "I dont do backwaaaaaaards!". Fast pass it. There appears to be a collection of several thousand hairbands on the midpoint of the ride, contribute if you wish!. Waiting in the queue is not too bad as theres a lot of things to read or look at. Went on it with the family and was quite suitable for my 11 yr old. Very much enjoyed. Managed four times with 2 fastpasses and two short queues.

Expedition Everest is my favorite Disney coaster. It really is a lot of fun, with some surprises along the way. Just when you think youve survived the worst, it reverses. Probably too scary for younger children (and there is height restriction). The wait times are usually high (though not as bad as some popular rides because of the height restriction) so highly suggest getting a fast pass. The wait time is made interesting by the authentic looking props. This ride should definitely be braved when visiting Animal Kingdom.

This isnt a very good ride, its fine for what it offers. Really forceless and the only elite coaster at Disney World besides Rock N Rollercoaster. A family ride with neat theming, I reccomend this to families who are tired of the Magic Kingdom coasters but are too scared of really intense rides like Rock N Rollercoaster, Tower Of Terror, or Mission Space at Epcot. Im a coaster enthusiast writing this review, and I dont like small coasters. Disney coasters happen to be them.

Do people really look at Google reviews of individual Disney rides? There are websites dedicated to Disney rides, attractions, and restaurants, so if you are going to Disney, I highly recommend doing a good bit of research on those websites. Very cool roller coaster, Himalayan/Yeti (not the cooler) themed. Coaster goes forwards, then backwards (to avoid the Yeti), then forwards again. Mostly inside the mountain. Can get crowded, so fastpasses are highly recommended.

The drama of is greater than the thrill in this roller coaster. In the long queue leading up to the starting point of the roller coaster you are treated to some great sets that make you feel like you are walking through the streets of Nepal. The earthy tone and muted lighting add to the drama. The best part of the ride is when the roller coaster stops and you see the silhouette of the Yeti pulling out the tracks. From then its an amazing thrill ride... backwards.

Es una atracción increible e imperdible dentro de los parques. Es de las mejores montañas rusas en las que me he subido. Descarga de mucha adrenalina y al bajar una bonita tienda para llevarte un par de recuerdos.

It was really fun and is more fun than it is intense. Definitely the most intense ride in Animal Kingdom, but not quite as intense as something like the Rock n Roller Coaster or Space Mountain. Im kind of a chicken when it comes to drops (I was scared of Wild Mouse coasters when I was little), but the drop on this one is banked so you dont feel it as much in your stomach. Not as harsh as Splash Mountain. Awesome ride, loved it!

This ride is sick! The line itself is like going through a museum so its not too much a pain. Plus there are parts where its indoors so thats great during the summer. When you get on the ride and youre going along its like "How could this get any cooler?" And then BAM youre goin backwards! Everything about this is great and like another reviewer said, it totally kicks the trash out of the Matterhorn at Disneyland.
