For years this ride was the only Star Wars presence in the park. All of that is about to change in a big way with the addition of the new Star Wars land which I am super excited about. Until then we can still go on intergalactic adventures with C-3PO and even the characters from the new movies. The ride queue makes you feel immersed in the StarWwars universe. It looks like you are on the moon of Endor where the Ewoks live. As you move through the line you go past the AT-AT Walkers from the planet Hoth in The Empire Strikes Back. The ride itself is a little outdated. I can go on basically the same ride at my local science museum. You enter a small box room with a screen in the front while the box turns and jerks in tune to the action on the screen to make you feel like you are flying. Once you have been on Soarin the herky jerky motion and claustrophobia of this setting really comes across as antiquated. What is cool about this ride is the movie. The basic script of every ride is that you need to deliver a rebel spy to safety. The "spy" is someone randomly chosen in your vehicle whose picture is put on the screen to often quite humorous results. Our spy was a young child. Previously the ride only contained scenes from the the original trilogy. The ride now has 96 variations and includes scenes from the Phantom Menace through Force Awakens. For instance at one one point Jar Jar Binks showed up swimming along our star craft and we hit him smashing him against the windshield in a very satisfying way. The new scripts were clearly written for the true fans of the franchise. The reboot the ride has gotten is very refreshing. Lines can be quite long so I recommend a fast pass if you are able to get one. This ride along with Star Wars Launch Bay and the night time projection show called Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular are the only ways to experience Star Wars in the park for right now until the new land opens in 2019. Until that exciting day may the force be with you!

I was kind of avoiding Star Tours because I never really liked it in the past. Then I was talking to a Disney Team Members who told me that the ride had been reprogramed and now had 54 different story combinations. I thought it was time to try the ride again. I must say that I am happy I gave this ride another whirl. First, the movement of the ride with the video seems to be more smooth then in past years. A win for technology! The old version seemed to be a little jerky and made me feel a little sick and I never get sick on rides. This is why I almost avoided this ride on every trip to Disney. Secondly, the 54 different story combinations keep this ride fresh and fun. In fact, my little 5 year old pointed out to me that the story was different from the first time we rode on it earlier in the day. I love when she points out things like that to me because it shows me she is paying attention to every minute of magic Disney is giving us. Great update to an old ride. So if you havent given this ride a try in a while, I would definately ride it now with the new updates. One of my favorite parts of the ride is the droid that is suppose to be checking bags and he keeps talking to the riders. This is happening while you are waiting in line to get on the ride. He keeps talking and keeps missing stuff hidden in the luggage as people are about to board there space ship. The reason I laugh is because Art imitates Life and if you fly, then you will see the humor in this little droid who doesnt know what he is looking for!!! Comedy...well played Star Tours...well played!

The revamped Star Tours is a great transition from the old to the new. I enjoyed every part of this state-of-the-art simulator from queue line to end. The queue itself brings you through an awesome recreation of the different Star Wars environments. Endor, a space station, Tatooine, I felt as though I was on site. The ride itself was fun, the simulator screen was high-definition with excellent audio and comfy seats. The tilting and bumping of the simulator car is intense and thrilling. The animatronics were well done too, the droids moved similar to the movies. Theres different versions and outcomes when riding, so you gotta ride it multiple times to see them all. A brilliant must-ride attraction for Star Wars fans and not.

Revamped years ago under supervision from George Lucas, Disney has added even more to the ride, showcasing new worlds that the Star Wars franchise visits. Crystal clear 3D CGI imagery presents different paths and adventures each time you ride, with 54 different possible ride sequences, and several hidden tweaks to find. You could ride this for days and not see everything Star Tours has to offer. If you find yourself waiting in line, watch the baggage inspector and his sight gags making fun of Disney and our Earthlings travel norms. Listen for an announcer paging "Mr. Egroeg Sacul." The name is "George Lucas" spelled backwards.

This is a fun ride. I just wish there was some way you could decide what version of the ride you were going to go on. Each showing seems to be randomized, so sometimes youll get the Darth Vader ride, sometimes youll get underwater adventure with Jar Jar, then youll get Vader again, then youll be racing, then Boba Fett, then battle in space with R2... You dont really know what youre missing without being able to choose

Atração imperdível para os amantes de Star Wars. Simulador 3D que nos embarca numa jornada a bordo de uma nave espacial na companhia de C3PO e R2D2 em meio a uma batalha galática dos rebeldes contra o império.

3D motion simulator as you fly through space and evade the Imperials. You will typically fly through two planets, seemingly chosen at random, so each time you go it may be a bit different. It now incorporates the new Star Wars movie. Until "Star Wars Land" opens, this will be THE Star Wars ride. Star Wars fans will also enjoy emptying out into the gift shop, where you can build your own droid or lightsaber.

Uma das melhores atrações do parque. Mesmo na fila é show, pois o local é todo decorado com os personagens e naves do filme. A atração é dentro de uma nave com simulação 4D.
