Nice reclining seats and super loud speakers, also very fairly priced it cost my husband and I less than 20 dollars for two tickets on a Sat.afternoon. The only thing I dont much care for is the pre-selection of seats prior to going into the theatre, we enjoy picking once inside to see which seats we like best.We were also unfortunate enough to get stuck next to a family who wouldnt stop talking throughout the movie, I was hoping an attendent would eventually walk through especially it being a horror movie but not one movie attendent ever walked through the theatre. It was also disappointing that there was no fountain soda working so the only beverage available was bottled water...who wants water with popcorn and candy...so we skipped the concession all together. All in all a nice theatre but if you are considering going to any movie please do everyone around you a favor and be quiet during the movie for some people its not all the time they get to go so be considerate talk after the movie

I went last night with the family to watch 47 meters down...the movie was good but definitely not the best shark movie since Jaws. This isnt the first time visiting this theater but I dont go often because its a bit far from my home but its definitely worth visiting. I love taking pics and the beautiful Egyptian facade allows me to take cool pics. Its clean. The seats recline, are leather and very comfy. The ailes have plenty of leg space and people can pass without bumping into you. Each row is high enough so that if a tall person sits in front of you, your view wont be diminished. The only reason Im giving it a rating of 4 and not 5 is because of the distance and that its over $2 more than the theater I usually visit but in comparison this theater is a better quality. I which there was another one in Miami. Overall its a great theater, highly recommend it.

You come to watch a movie anf the air conditioning is not working so we watch the movie sweating. They give us free tickets. 2 months later we go to watch a movie with the tickets, drive almost 15/20 miles and they have several movies showing with a sign that says their A/C is not working to its full capacity. I ask so its not working at all or not that cold... manager signals to staff to say its not working at all! What the... if there is no A/C go to your website and put NO PAASSES like you normally do for sold out movies. Dont make people drive to your place to later tell you that you have a choice! This place is lacking maintenance and management.

I went yesterday for my first time to watch star wars in 3D XD. The seats were horrible. I did not enjoy my movie experience because I was so uncomfortable. The seats sink in and you feel trapped. There was no room for my legs. I felt like I could not move otherwise i would hit the persons seat in front of me. And every time someone from the row behind me got up I would get hit on the back. It was super distracting. Half way into the movie I was in so much pain I wanted this amazing movie to finish already so i can leave this place. I had horrible back pain and a migraine by the time the movie ended. I wont come back unless they change those seats.

Reading all the fabulous reviews, I decided to check this place out. I had no problems getting tickets or finding the right screen, but the movie would not start from the beginning! It started 5-15 minutes in. No employee or manager offered any explanation. I was able to get a full refund easily, but I will not be going back. 8/11/14 EDIT Since my previous experience, I was contacted by this Cinemarks manager and was informed of the unique issue the other patrons and I experienced. An apology was issued and several movie passes were sent to me in the mail. Its only fair to bring my review up to 3.5 stars, which rounds up to 4.

Awesome movie theatre; comfortable seating, they run movies for long and have a variety of showings (sometimes im in the mood for a thriller, a comedy and most of all its nice to go see a faith based movie with my family)...no other movie theatre can compete...not even IPic which must be booked in advance, does not show a variety of movies and is overpriced for cheap unhealthy food and a couch that is far away from the small screen. Cinemark has much bigger screens -- you definitely experience the picture showing when in Cinemark. Love you Cinemark, have so many great memories here and had to take the time to express it :)

My experience was O.K. This was because 1. No one was selling tickets outside for about 1 hour and 50 minutes. 2. I like to watch the credits to see if the is something after... when I am about to leave no one turned on the lights yet. (About 5 minutes after the credits they finally go on.) 3. When I was waiting to purchase a souvenir I look around and I see popcorn on the floor, in the seats, and in and on the shelves. To top it off, the man behind the desk made me wait 15-20 minutes to get my souvenir when I could have just waited 2 minutes for it. And he didnt even say sorry. This is why I am giving 3 stars.

During this summer, the AC is not working at full capacity. That is the thermostat is set to a higher temperature to save on FPL usage because to cool the cinema during the summer is just too costly. That being said, no discounts or concessions are being given out to offset this. Instead they say they are telling you in advance before you buy your ticket so its up to you to deal with the heat or dont and go back home or go to another cinema. I think it is very poor service for such a large theater to not have the AC at cooler temperature. Guess i would have to wait until later in the year to return to this place.

I like coming to this theater ...5 star because they upgraded the seating. one reason i like coming here its because you can choose your own seat. Even when youre late to the movies you know your chairs are going to be there. The time I go is not that packed because I usually go during the day. But the one time I did go in the evening it was very full of people , but since I was able to choose seating beforehand I didnt have a problem waiting in line. But since they just upgraded the seating this week i dont know how the seating assingment will be. Trust me.. even the fresh carpet smell is pleasing.

Went for Marvel week event. Davie Theatre employees didnt know about concession discounts, had to go to customer service to talk to manager after our movie. Our group paid 25 and change for items that were to total 11. Eventually manager refunded tickets but was told had to wait 21 days for refund to post. Still pending refund now. Management should have trained employees about special event. Kudos to Boynton cinemark, they went above and beyond Davie and gave all visitors the discounts which created wow moments for each family expecting to pay the high $ the concession is known for.
