I understand what people say about the guy seems busy talking to his "posse". But than I also tried asking him questions in front of that same posse and what I got was a wealth of knowledge. I was totally green to salt water and thanks to the owner and patrons I now have a very successful reef. And Ive never had a problem with his fish. Go there on a Thursday afternoon for fish. Go on a tues or wed to be able to ask a million questions. All in all, between prices, quality and all around knowledge, I trust Sea Creatures

I have been to this place quite a few times, and you have to bend the owners arm to help you since he is always to busy talking to his "posse". When you get his attention, he talks to you for maybe 3seconds. His prices are good, but product is all dying or diseased. Bought a fish recently that had ick, he told me that it must have sand on it. It had blury eyes too, he said that it banged its eye on a rock. If I was a 5yr old buying a goldfish I might buy that. Never going back. Cant believe he is still in business!

Knows his stuff, although he is usually to busy to help answer your questions. The aquariums appearance has improved since I started going as well. Some negatives are fish left dead in tanks, not very assertive to help customers and wont test your water for you. Pros are his prices are good, verity of fish is nice, and if you get lucky enough to talk with the owner he isnt a bad guy although his first impressions are not the best.

John is extremely busy there ya takes some time to get stuff but he has phones ringing people asking questions people paying. Ya he could hire help but then prices start to go up. I started in 2003 found his shop bought all my stuff from him. Left hobby 13 years to go back to johns place. He wont sell u the higest ticked skimmer in his store he sells u the best performance and best priced skimmer. Will always be back

I had the same experience as comments below. Store is not well kept, many fish look sick (with ick - or some sort of disease) and majority of coral looks like it is dying. I went there a few times in a row and saw the same blue tang dead in the coral tank (prob sat for 2-3days). Owner didnt seem pleasant, and always too busy to talk to you. There are much better places in the Providence area. Prob not going back.

The owner has been in business for over 2 decades and is extremely knowledgeable. There is always an excellent selection of fish and coral but be sure to go on Thursdays this is fish/coral delivery day and there will be a lot to choose from. The prices at Sea Creature are by far the best not only in the state but also the best in the region, no joke! I highly recommend Sea Creature.

Owner has always taken time to answer my questions, great prices, fast service. If I need a filter part he will just grab it out of a boxed filter and order new part, unlike most places that will make you wait a week while your fish all die. I do agree the tanks could be better taken care if, but that's why you get fish on Thursday when they come in, no stress, no problem.

Someone told me about this place, how awesome it is, and I am so grateful. Super nice owner, very knowledgeable, honest, and always ready to help. If he doesnt have what youre looking for, he will order it. I go there all the time now. Love the place! I got some happy fish in my tank from this guy :)

Dude that runs it is actually helpful , he knows all his species and products. Even when place was packed he makes time to answer questions from my younger son who always comes with me to shop. Great prices and good quality corals . Only dislike is that he opens kind of late

Owner is all over the place. On the phone all the time terrible service lots of dead fish in tanks every time I go there dont know if Ill ever be back. I get agrevated every time I go there only has time for regulars. I rate this store a. Oooooooooooooo. Zero

Dusty merchandise, dead fish in tanks, and advice to buy anything living that is in stock regardless of your setup. Try Coral Reef in Seekonk or Water World in Chepachet for better selection and service.
