I booked this originally for a Saturday. On Friday they called me to reschedule it for Sunday. Beings that was Valentines Day, we already had another tour planned, as well as dining reservations for that evening. With flying out on Monday, I had little choice but to rearrange everything on Sunday to Saturday so that we could do this tour. So I did. Moved our snowmobiling trip to Saturday (which they were very accommodating thank goodness) and sadly cancelled our Valentines dinner reservations - but I figured it was worth it for the dog sledding. Sunday arrives, our tour is to begin at 3:30 and at 2:30 they call me and cancel, again. The first time it was because it was too warm (it was 45). The second time was because it was snowing (Isnt this Colorado in the winter??). To say I was disappointed and angry is an understatement. I had rearranged plans and cancelled plans to which I now could not get back. The girl on the phone was completely unapologetic and monotone in her responses when I pointed all of this out to her. She just kept giving me the same script like reply over and over. I know things come up sometimes, but seriously, have something to offer as a back up other than a repetitive, unapologetic reply - especially when you cancelled on me twice. Offer kennel tours, a shortened tour...something. I picked this place because of the reviews I read on here, so I was floored that this was the biggest letdown of our trip. Ill be back to the Vail area to dog sled, but certainly not with these people. Perhaps their tours are great, but if they keep cancelling on me, how will I ever know?

Unprofessional, misleading and rude customer service - Groupon holders, proceed with caution as they wont let you book the most desirable time slots on redeemable days. None of this is stated anywhere on their fine print or in the Groupon, either. I was told I could only book 7:00, 7:15 and 7:30 AM for a weekend 5 weeks away with my Groupon on an eligible weekend, even though the 9:00 AM and later slots are clearly shown as open on their website. I was told those are reserved for groups that require transportation, which Groupon holders are ineligible for. When I said the early morning times were not convenient, I received the unhelpful answer of "Maybe you should stay in a hotel the night before." I then asked to speak with the supervisor, who told me the same information and who told me to seek a refund with Groupon. What kind of customer service is that? Shame their customer service is so rude (other reviewers have had similar experiences) because the actual tours sound wonderful. For anyone who is in the same predicament: I ended up calling Groupon and they are trying to schedule the tour on my behalf now, so Id try going through them.

Just called to book a tour and spoke with Alyssa who was extremely rude to me. She spoke in a completely monotone and uncaring voice the entire call. When she told me new information that was not listed on the website, I pointed out to her that that information would have been helpful to know when I had been planning things. She totally ignored my comment and spoke over me then told me it wasnt their fault because the website wouldnt allow them to post this information. I then asked to speak with someone else and she retorted "why, so they can just tell you the exact same thing?" I was extremely turned off and will likely be taking my business elsewhere. Hopefully Alyssa will learn better customer service skills!

Very disappointed. We purchased a Groupon knowing it was only good for weekdays. What we didnt know is that customers with Groupon are treated like second class customers. They refused to allow us to make an appointment on any day before 7:30 am. Being as we are in Denver that was a problem. We finally took a Monday off work made hotel arrangements in Leadville for Sunday night. Unfortunately a big snow storm came through and they had to cancel. That was understandable. The weather is uncontrollable. Basically after that they told us they didnt know how long they would be open and that they were making appointments on a weekly basis. They said they would call us back but never did. Total rip off.

Have yet to go on the actual trip. But thus far the experience has been miserable. The relations girl, Alyssa (who you call) was absolutley beyond rude to my mom as she was trying to set up the experience. She was even hung up on, TWICE and our calls were ignored as we tried to call back. When asked how long the tour was, it certainly is not worth the money, and we even had a Groupon. I hope the experience is worth it and makes up for the lack of respect and rudeness received from their employee.

I am very disappointed with this companys communication or lack there of. We called to book a large party and the lady on the phone couldnt even answer basic questions. She said shed have to ask the owner and get back to me. Which she never did. I called again and left a message but still got no return call. Im afraid this company is losing business due to their admin staff. Good luck to anyone trying to book with this company.

Wonderful. The guides name was Tony, from New Mexico. He was excellent. All the adults in the party were able to drive the sled. There was time to take pictures and to pet the dogs. Free hot chocolate!!! Calculate ample time to get there, just in case there is a delay while driving to the destination. Wear extra extra layering as it may be extremely cold.

Super fun! Our guide was awesome and personable, we had a phenomal time. Expensive for us poor folk, but its not something you do every day. Worthwhile for moms visit in town from MA. Going to take the next crew of friends who visits.
