This casino has destroyed the town around it, and the tribe who owns it have definitely lost their way. Any non native local will tell you that since the casino opened up, drugs, alcohol, violence, laziness and welfare dependency, and poverty have plagued the tribe and the town around it. If you gamble here, just know your money goes towards making our home just a little bit more awful, and that we hate you for coming here. This is already an impoverished area, the casino takes whatever money the locals do make, and the out of towners are the only ones who ever win big. Im a local who has frequented this place for many years (as its the only thing to do in Tuolumne), an avid hold em player, a Vegas/Army brat, and I know how dealers cheat. The first several times I played hold em there, I won a respectable amount, or lost in an honest fashion. Every single time since the last time I took them for about a grand, the pit boss starts eyeballing me as soon as I sit down, and they change the dealers as soon as I start winning, after which my luck magically disappears. Going from winning about 60% of my hands to losing literally all of my hands, to impossible odds. It is statistically impossible for me to get absolutely nothing ten hands in a row, and for the dealer to have four straights, a full house, two three of a kinds and three 2 pair, and when every one of those lucky hands happens to occur after the dealer "accidentally" throws my card too far and at an angle that prevents me from keeping my eye on their hands... Doesnt stop me from seeing them pull from the bottom of the deck. Word of advice, Black Oak; dont try cheating someone who grew up in Vegas with a poker hound family, I could spot a cheating dealer before I got my first woody. Next time you do it, I will catch it, it will be on video, and I will blast it all over YouTube. This is the fourth time in a row youve done this to me, and Ive seen your dealers cheat every single time. Next time, Im pressing charges with video evidence. Cheating aside, avoid the restaurants downstairs. Kingpins is notoriously slow (I once waited two hours for a root beer float, only to discover they had forgotten my order, and then had to wait another forty minutes), and several of the staff are extremely rude. The Mill sports bar is alright, but the food costs way more than it should, and takes FOREVER to get to your table. Having worked in many restaurants for many years in nearly every conceivable position, I would have to collectively rate them a 4/100 when it comes to customer service.

I took my dad to Blackoak Casino last night, first thing i noticed was they had done some remodeling. They did a great job I really liked the look and feel it had given the place. I heard one of the employees tell a guest that they were not nearly done they had more remodeling still to do. But the beauty of the place did not change the fact that getting s drink server still seemed impossible. Finally i got up to go find one myself Because my dad wanted some coffee. As I searched I come upon a nice surprise they had set up a self serve coffee and soda station. They had one on the other side of the casino but that is s ways to walk for my dad who uses a walker, or for me leaving my dad alone. He turned around and with the remodel he surely would not know his way around. So I got his coffee and he was pleased. When we were getting ready to leave I ordered food to go, which the players club comped the food from my use of my players club card. It was very early morning i think around 4am and I guess the cook must have fallen asleep because it took way too long to get our food. They were having some problems for sure. The two ladies ahead of me had ordered and then one of them decided to order another burger and paid separately from her first order, well they got only half the order and im not sure how that story ended up, but hopefully it was handled to the customers satisfaction. As I went to pick up my order it also was half missing, to keep it from getting cold I took the half and shared with dad it was very good Sweet and spicy Chicken Salad, we took the rest of the meal home to have for dinner. Pros; friendly valet getting dad close as possible to front entrance, the beautiful remodel, great tasting food which was paid for with my players club. Con: cant everyone find a drink server, and neither dad nor i could win anything.i usually do pretty good but not this time but I guess that is why they call if gambling and not winning. Lol

If Black Oaks is a Casino , Then your Trash Can is a "Outback Steakhouse" Using the word "Casino" to describe Black Oaks would be like calling a Taco Truck a restraunt. A Taco Truck does serve food for a price ,although calling what they serve "food" might be considered by the FDA "not meant for human consumption. Black Oaks does have a few of the latest IGT ,Bally,& other slot manufacturers the payouts on these slots are certainly set to the lowest allowed by gaming mfg. The term "Casino" is best used when reffering to any business operating in Nevada. Black Oaks has no regulatory agency or oversight commitee that has regulates or guarantees these slots payrates. This is like fishing with out any catch limits, the impact would be beneficial for the angler but would be devastating for the enviroment. "Casino" by definition its not , it does have a bowling alley which does categorize it as a place for entertainment. The payout % of there slots based on controlled wagers by a private group of "watchdog analysts that are pushing for regulatory control on all indian casinos in California guarantees that there payrate or slot looseness is no higher than 75% max, confidently feel the slot payback is more along the lines of %53-58% , it doesnt take a genius to do the math this is borderline criminal if not a full on misdemeanor larceny on the patrons who frequent this establishment! Be very CAUTIOUS this kind of robbery leaves individuals very succeptible to losing alot of money with very little chance of return .Better known as "ROI" or "RETURN ON INVESTMENT"
