This cinema is located in probably one of the hoitie-toitier areas in the Bay Area. Which is good, in this case. Its beautifully appointed with ultra-modern yet tasteful streetlights. Cute little cafes where youd probably have to get a credit check before you order. But thats not the theater. D. and I saw I think Rogue One here. We were impressed; the place was clean and the staff was efficient and didnt try to make idle chitchat. Or soak my popcorn in butter. The film was bright and clear and the audio was well balanced. I know that most of these places are pretty well tuned but I just wanted to add that as this was a special film and they seem to have taken care to ensure the integrity of the experience.

With parking directly under the cinema, a large selection of movies from which to choose and plenty of good food choices in the immediate vicinity, this is, in my humble opinion, the most convenient location mid-peninsula. Parking is validated for up to 4hrs, theaters are generally clean and seats comfortable. Now a recent change enables your seat to be reserved at the time tickets are purchased so no more having to sit in the theater early to get a decent seat. You can now purchase your ticket early, reserve your seat and return at showtime without fear of straining your neck from sitting in the front row. Great change in my opinion.

Whenever I visit the area, Im struck by prices higher than their service would dictate. This Century cinema is a good example: you pay a lot, and find yourself sitting in a stinky theater with a mediocre sound system. We bought tix for the high-end 3D theater, and the sound was just not up to expectations; it actually dampened my enjoyment of the movie. I understand that Century theaters have always been like this (dirty), but seriously--this is in an expensive area and you deserve more for your dollar. I just dont know why the service level is so low--perhaps its a lack of competition?

I have always had great experiences at this cinema. Friendly staff, lines move quickly, organized with biggest crowds. They make the experience worth the money. If your popcorn isnt fresh tasting, they will replace it. Theres always a person popping in to clean the restrooms. Condiments are always filled, etc etc etc. If i forget to get my parking stamped they are find wit. Me popping back in to the premises to help me fix that! Its a happy place for me! Now, the parking in downtown Redwood City Is a whole different issue. It is becoming a chore, but thats not the cinemas fault ;-)

Best theater around!!! The location is perfect for a night out, weekend date or movie night. With plenty of things to do before and after your movie. Downtown Redwood City has a restaurant for every occasion and every craving. The theater itself is great too because its fairly new and has great seats and auditoriums. They also have underground parking but dont let the price scare you, you can have your parking ticket validated at the front desk of the theater and your parking will be free. So enjoy your movie!!!

Great theater, no trash and seemed nice. Yes tickets are over priced but the experience was good just the same. Saw Star Wars on opening weekend there and it was very crowded, parking wasnt very straight forward and ended up parking a few blocks away in a garage when apparently there was a garage that did validation with the theater in that same structure. Parking was - one star everything else, including concessions, was as expected in a movie theater.

Decent, but a bit too expensive. Nice that I can reserve seats. Free parking validation is nice too. The cost is killer, considered you drop $15/person, compared to DVD or VOD, its no wonder that theaters are dying. On top of that, they charge a $3 convenience fee to buy online. Are you kidding me. Do you not want me to come to your theater? Welcome to the modern age. You own the app, the costs are the same. Just eliminate that fee. Please!

We visited this theater this week for the first time to see the "Bourne Ultimatum." The theater is very nice, but there was too much on-screen advertising. There was 15 to 20 minutes of advertising before the movie. Then, when the lights went down, there were at least 10 trailers, one right after the other. It was overkill. This would be a reason for me to not go to this theater again, and just rent the movie I want to see on DVD.

This is an enormous theatre located near lots of restaurants and a parking garage around the corner which adds up to an easy night out. You get everything you could want from concessions outside of alcohol and there are smaller stands near the movie rooms if you need a fill up or some last minute candy and do not want to jump in a big line. This theatre is always clean and the staff is on point.

Nestled in the downtown district a stones throw from the plaza at San Mateo County Museum, this cinema has a classic look and feel with all the modern amenities. Very nice and well kept theater as expected from the Cinemark chain. Definitely recommend bringing a sweater as the A/C is cranked especially during the summer. Last movie watched here was THE CONJURING (solid horror flick from James Wan).

Friendly staff. Decent popcorn. Clean theater (floor werent sticky). Restroom was clean, well stocked. Saw Star Wars. Purchased "standard" tickets. The sound was on the quieter side today. The explosions werent that loud. Missed when theaters had "THX Surround Sound." Wonder if you have to pay for 3D ticket prices to get the roaring sound to hear the special sounds?

I love this place. Only in convince is that you have to go very early to pick your sits. If you get your tickets at Costco you have to go either a day before or very early to exchange it because if you get there trying to get good sit and exchange your Costco tickets at the same time it will be too late and the good sits will be gone.

Great place to bring larger groups. Online reserve seating for some movies, parking validation, comfortable seats, large theaters, and a good selection of showings. If you buy a ticket but dont use it, you can even take it to customer service and get a voucher for the full value of the ticket. I come here frequently!

Its a movie theater...what more can I say - prices were the norm...what is GREAT about this place is the atmosphere of the neighborhood. Its a great place where you can eat a nice dinner, walk up and down the shops of Redwood City, and then stop off to watch a movie. Good place to go on a date, in my opinion :)

I thought parking and the layout of the theater was a little weird and hard to understand, but I think there was some construction happening too. The inside of the actual theaters were nice, and clean and the staff was nice. I do wish they would adopt assigned seating like many other theaters have done.

Nice theatre can get pretty crowded though specially on the week end. Theres a decent variety of restaurants nearby and some parking lots. If you are going for a in demand movie I suggest coming at least 30 min before its starts so you get in line to get decent seats.
